To slag off Kilgallon after yesterday proves the mentality of some United fans, I thought he had a very good game alongside Cahill. Infact, the whole back 4 did.

Shelton is ok when he's running with the ball, but I still don't think he's good enough. He doesn't come to get the ball, 3 times he waited for it and it got taken away from him before he got near it.

The defence played much better on Saturday than they have done, but Naysmith is still crap. Armstrong was easily Man Of The Match for me, and Shelton's problem is that we insist on playing it to his feet, when I'm sure he's crying out for the ball to run on to.

exactly, if we are going to use his pace he needs to have the ball to run onto, but that was never going to happen against preston, Putting him upfront with beattie when the preston back four were playing quite deep leaves him nowhere to run. He needs to be in the middle of the park where he can run with the ball. We saw that he can beat players.

I couldnt beleive that he took stead off, he and squinny were playing very well. Naysmith had a mare, and i think he knows it. Cahill and Bardsley were good at the back. I really dont like Killa. Dont think he is good enough, maybe its a confidence thing i dont know, but im not confinced.

AND WHAT THE FUCK WAS ROBBO TALKING ABOUT ON RADIO SHEFFIELD???????? Listening to him after the match on saturday was like a carbon copy of McClaren after the russia match. Was he watching a different match to the 23000 fans?

I would l ove to see that stats on how many times Robbo has changed the team since the start of the season (Cup excluded). I really dont think that he has any idea who his best team is. Has the back four been the same for more than one game so far? i appreciate injusries can be helped, but how are we supposed to get some rythem going if he keeps changing the team round and playing different players in different positions???????

Actually the most effective player to work with Beattie is Webber, together they cause trouble - they have be at the heart of our only comebacks.

I agree. If not up front id try him out wide instead of Gillespie. Stead has a run at players and creates lots of opportunities when he plays, more so than Gillespie is doing.

Stead is definatley one of the best players at the club, also it seemed that Beattie scored more goals when plaing with Stead - someone who got out wide and tried to get the ball in the box(seeing as our wingers cant!).
