I’d say too much money but very little sense if we sign Barnes. I’d rather find out what James Hanson is up to and offer him a few hundred quid a week than pay even half of Barnes’ £30k a week until the end of the season.
Agree if we sign Barnes, what finds it difficult to get in an average Norwich side then it's fucking embarrassingI’d say too much money but very little sense if we sign Barnes. How do you know he is on £30k per week ?I’d say too much money but very little sense if we sign Barnes. I’d rather find out what James Hanson is up to and offer him a few hundred quid a week than pay even half of Barnes’ £30k a week until the end of the season.
The media reports that have been shared on here, they might be bollocks but if we pay an injured and out of form 35 year old anything more than beer money it’s not ideal. How do you know he is on £30k per week ?
Sargent would practically guarantee promotion.Sargent would be a serious statement of intent signing but he’d be very very expensive.
Ellis Simms might be a more realistic but still expensive target he’s having a down year this year but has been effective previously.
Brayford?Usually when a club changes to new owners.
They like to make a "statement" signing.....
In order to show they mean business.
Who will be our "Statement" signing? Do you think?
It’s good to dreamSargent would practically guarantee promotion.
We'd be looking at £25m though surely.
I recommend a full slab of Seriously Strong extra mature cheddar, about an hour before the transfer window opens. That's what's got me through previous ones. It’s good to dream![]()
Ribery? May as well try and revive EpsteinFranck Ribery.
Or BBD
I think you’d be looking around that 20 mark for him yeah which is probably what we’d have to pay for a striker in the summer if we did go up.Sargent would practically guarantee promotion.

Agreed. If we go up then we may have to yoyo for a couple of seasons before becoming established.I think you’d be looking around that 20 mark for him yeah which is probably what we’d have to pay for a striker in the summer if we did go up.
It’s not going to be a cheap start to life as owners for the new board if we go up.
I’d say that’s more the reality than a massive splurgeAgreed. If we go up then we may have to yoyo for a couple of seasons before becoming established.
What, to replace Wilder? He could certainly manage a 1960's popular beat quartet but not so sure about a modern day football club.Ribery? May as well try and revive Epstein![]()
Out of those most of us think BBD is coming back.Wingers
McAtee would be a statement as would have loved Doyle back but he is playing well for a wolves so we have no chance there.
Jaden Philogene isn't getting much game time but not sure if he would drop down.
Wilson Odobert is struggling for game time at spurs and we are crying out for a fast winger like him.
They are the statement ones I would like to see us go for.
Tyrhys Dolan at Blackburn Young winger at Blackburn fits the bill of what we are looking for fast tricky and a skilful winger not sure how much Blackburn would want though.
Tyler Goodrham at Oxford another young player that has a bright future ahead of him at Oxford bagged a few goals and assists so far in a struggling Oxford team.
Strikers Borja Sainz if we want to make a statement go and get this lad he would make a big difference to our team.
BBD for obvious reasons can play wide left and as a Centre Forward.
Will Osula never wanted to see the lad leave he is the type of striker we have been crying out for with Campbell injured.
Josh Maja quality player at this Level scored 10 in 24 games so far this season.
Oli McBurnie would like him back to compete with Moore I was sad to see him go in the summer as I still think he could have been a key player in our team.
Loan to buy if we were promoted, player won’t have to move away either
now that would be a signing get him in and moore on bench
Josh Sargent?Sargent would practically guarantee promotion.
We'd be looking at £25m though surely.
