Starting to look bad now.

I don't think they looked poor at all, they just play differently to us based on the players they have.
They were nothing (not terrible but not good). I couldn't tell you what their tactics were. Nothing stood out. Looked just like Ipswich, Reading etc

FRO. Best performance for weeks. A bit of luck we could have been 3 up. Twat of a ref decides it's a poncy no contact sport and fancies his name in lights so sends Fleck off.........and its starting to look bad. FFS I wish this was my first season watching us o_O

Nothing wrong with the ref today. Fleck has 0 complaints.

Was a good performance today till then. Anger and annoyance after that is wondering if we've got the players the next 3 games to fill both Fleck and Coutts' role. Tough ask and worrying.

Now we've lost fleck, and 3 out of 4, we've not seen this for a while now.
January can't come soon enough.

Why? what are you expecting in January??

It won't be any major signings

I agree but they weren't poor, they were coming to a decent side away from home so going hell for leather wasn't really an option. I'd take 2 or 3 of their players in a heartbeat. Flint, Patterson and Pack were all good players.

Need to find someone that can shoot and hit the target in addition to Leon, other teams have players who can shoot on target from around the edge of the box, we don't.

In fairness, i thought they were quite good at what they needed to do.......effective.

We were excellent tonight. Totally outplayed a team in third. We are having a run where nothing goes right and it might continue but if we carry on like that we will undoubtedly be up there

Totally agree - looking forward to your view from to see whether they think they deserved that.

Also looking forward to what the lundstram haters have to say after his display tonight.
Although to be fair I thought everyone played well - Baldock returning was so important to the shape of the team

Won the ball. I remember when i was allowed to tackle without worrying that a trailing leg might glance someone and get me sent off.

The games changed and Fleck is playing in today's game. 2 footed = off. If one of our players had had to go off injured due to an oppositions two footed challenge we'd rightly be expecting them to have been sent off.

Does any one else think that we missed out in August when we needed to sign a quality experienced forward with real pace. We miss chances every week and it’s costing us ..

We have the Championship top scorer with 14 goals and Billy is on 8 goals. They are fantastic strikers and we don't know how lucky we are.

It was reckless though.
Correct decision even though Fleck got the ball first :(

Depends what you mean by looking bad. It would be looking bad if we were points adrift in the bottom three. We are going through a sticky patch, for quite a few reasons, but it's hardly the end of the world.

Although I do agree about January. The squad needs some reinforcements, especially with Coutts out.

Well drilled rather than outstanding. I can get on board with that as a description for them. I'e forgotten them already though. Nothing interesting or exciting about them

I liked Patterson. But I prefer Duffy. They headed everything in their box and Flint took his goal well

Games changed.....I agree. But I don't think it was that reckless. Reckless was what happened at Burton Imo.

We conceded two at home against 3rd in the league with 10 men.

Playing the way we do you are going to concede goals, have you not accepted this yet?

Yes you are correct. We conceded two goals at home (again coincidentally) against a team who were 3rd in the table and with only 10 men on the pitch. However we are fourth and the mighty Bristol City being in 3rd place hold no fear for me because I don't really rate them. Utd are a better side than them evernsay of the week. Problem is we keep shooting ourselves in the foot by conceding silly goals. And also, we put ourselves down to 10 men as we started with 11 jut like the mighty 3rd placed Bristol.

So bottom line, strip away the whys and the why nots....and we have still conceded 2 at home...again for the umpteenth time.

Bottom line, you won't win many games having to score 3 goals to win it.

But back to your question....'have I not accepted this yet?'

Accepted what exactly? That we have to score 3 each game to possibly win it? In that case he answer is 'no I fkin well haven't'. Just in case you didn't know, it is possible to play good entertaining football but without conceded numerous / piss poor goals every game. Its not a trade off you know...you can play excellent football and still stop giving away silly goals.
Haven't you worked that one out yet?

Get back to basics right now and stop giving goals away. Fuk me a clean sheet for Utd is like gold dust.

That's a good point:-

Player misses ball completely, breaks opponent's leg = no free kick or card
Player wins ball = red card

Maybe the game isn't the one I grew up with, but instinctively, I felt Fleck won the ball fairly, not even a free kick.

It was a good performance till then and then it predictably, and understandably, went south.

Fleck should come out and apologise for that. Screwed us out of 3 points today and leaves us right up the shitter for the next 3. Idiot.

Fuck me Trevor Hockey wouldn’t last five minutes. Ref spoiled this
Good gameFleck went for and got the fucking ball. Man up

I'm not moaning at all, thought we played well, and I don't believe losing Flecks cost us the game, the shit defending for the second cost us the game.
Very disappointed in Fleck for that challenge though, he should know better, especially with Coutts out, so I'm now expecting Carruthers to get a run out, I thought Lundstrum was far better tonight, I'm still not a Stearman fan and would rather see Wright in there, but I'm not the gaffer.
We need to regroup again, and I think reverting back to a 4-4-2 formation might be the way forward for the next game.
And anybody that doesn't think losing 3 of 4, 1 point from 12, and losing Flecks for 3 games doesn't look bad, well your fucking deluded.

What frustrates me most is Fleck is given a straight red for that tackle where he gets to the ball first and his trailing leg catches their player, yet rewind a few weeks a certain player for Burton is ten minutes late with a lung that breaks Coutts' leg and he gets away with it.:confused::confused:

And Trevor Hockey isn't playing in today's game. Nothing about manning up but playing the game by today's rules.

We played some of the best football at the Lane today against a team sat in third...come on ffs.
