I'm hoping some fellow blades might be able to help me with a little mini-project I am on with.
I am trying to get my 9 year old brother more into supporting the blades. He has been to a handful of games over the past couple of seasons and although he has enjoyed them and shows a keen interest, he is still having his head turned by glory hunting school friends and becoming an armchair chelsea, man city or man utd fan.
I want to put a CD together of all blades related songs for him to listen to at home and in the car. I have the obvious ones (Judas Priest, Annies Song, Sham 69 etc etc) but I am struggling to get hold of a few of the more bespoke songs that were written by fans over the past few years. These are:
I Dont Like Mondays (circa 1997?)
United To The Top (circa 1997?)
United Through and Through (circa 2002?)
I used to have these on CD as a child but it seems that they were thrown out at some point. Those who know the songs will know that they are pretty naff, but so are we so perfect match!
If anybody has an mp3 of any of these, I would be really really grateful if you could email them to me so I can bring our kid back over from the dark side!
