What do we consider to be the overall value of our first team squad, fees to include what are considered to be any “attainable” add on

The players like Sharp / Norwood / bash / Fleck have been marked down as they are on high wages relative to their likely destination and their contracts will subsequently have to be subsidised.
Overall value ~ £100m

We have to hope that some youngsters come through and / or we get back to the premiership soon or we will have only two, possibly three seasons before we are back to pre Wilder days. When we were living from hand to mouth as the squad value will be needed to pay the overall running costs of the club.

the next two seasons are vitally important not only from the point of view of league position but to buy and develop v well

Agree I forgot some, was just getting a general feel for where we are and how important the next few windows are.
Ramsdale, Egan and Berge have been good investments the rest although doing a job to get us promoted have now lost their value.
some lost it as soon as they were signed as we paid over the odds and some because their form had fallen off a cliff. I seem to remember that Arsenal were interested in fleck for £8m two years ago?

My opinion is, we're quite fucked unless there's a major turnaround.

I don't blame the players, they don't set the fees, but we have quite a few big investments in the squad who are worth considerably less than what we paid for them, and by getting relegated, we're not in a position of power to extract maximum money for any sales.

If we do play hardball, we risk getting stuck with big earners who'll not sign new contracts and leave for nothing.

Big season for the club.
