Surely we'll be rotating the squad a little bit in these games? Who do we think will get a game?

Yes, I'm thinking one or two of our players are beginning to look tired after 70mins.

United will start the same line up in both games unless there is injurie....then bring them off around 60 min mark.... Get these two our of the way then we are back to a game per week till Christmas

Think Lunny and Fleck will both get a game off each for Freeman in the next block of games.

Great point today but we now have Lunny, Fleck & Baldock all one booking away from 1 game suspension up till after the Watford game.

I think we'll keep the same side going as long as possible but it's likely the suspensions will force some rotation on us in the next couple of weeks anyhow.

Baldock is the worry out of that lot. Even if we lose Fleck and Lundstram for the same game we have bodies in midfield, with Freeman, Besic, Osborn, and maybe Morrison.

K Freeman looked a long way off Baldock last season and was poor in the cup games this season, and Baldock has really pushed on this season.

It's not just the bans that are concerning, but fatigue and burnout.
Ok bans, fatigue, burnout and loss of form. CW has got to play his “best” 11 whenever he can. We are where we are in the league because of our continuity and CW’s resistance to squad rotation.

Just tried to do this on a piece of A4, only im not sure Didzy n Mousset in goal will be allowed??

Wilder must be confident in the availability and form of possible replacements. Any player who is just one more card away from suspension, must be affected by the prospect of losing his place?
Having a settled line up gives others confidence in the way you play. Bringing in one off replacements into a settled side is hardly ideal. (Jags and Moore)
My biggest concern would be losing two or three key players at the same time.

Lundstram wasn’t as good today but their midfield is one of the best in the league. Dealt with the threat well I think.

Having Luke Freeman - one of my favourite CMs of recent years as BACKUP is almost unbelievable.

I agree this would be a little concerning but I would personally move bash over there and then bring jags in I know it alters the shape slightly but I would think this would be defensively better and maybe even work with bash having free roam down that side, or even as a mad option put besic there, we know he likes a tackle and can be solid defensively.

Not only wasn't Lundstram as good today , he was noticeably poor in a number of respects .

Not only was Lundstram not as good today , he was noticeably poor in a number of respects and easily our worst performer .

He seemed to lack energy and commitment and his positional play was all over the place , creating problems for others around him .

Poor old Lunneh..... I think our boy is slowing down.

It's been a demoralising couple of games seeing that he is subject to biology. Didn't think we'd have to witness that.

I'd consider leaving him out for Newcastle, with Freeman coming in. Then have him fresh ready to smash Norwich, which is a better game for him.

He has been ever present since pre season and sat on 4 yellow cards for a while now. No surprise his form has slipped a bit.
Up to Wilder if he keeps his place and eventually gets a rest on suspension.

Has anyone a summary of the yellow cards so far? There must be a few now who are on the edge of a ban.
