A certain Mr Wilder sat close by to me at the Millers game

Asked him if he was having a look at Danny Ward and he said he couldn't possibly say :D

Said he was just taking a game in

Just said thanks for a great season after 6 years in this division

Mr Wilder was an utter gentleman

We are all so proud of the man and so delighted things turn out alright in the end for all of us. Worth waiting for. The man's a Blade.

Let's go with the man, hell or high water.

The man is a football man and his players respect him for that. He'll be at games every day of the week. He'll watch the lads too.

Knill will, Mitchell will.

This is powerful. S2 magic.

After reading post Fleck or McDonald , he has gone to check out McDonald - shite .

Fleck any day of the week :D

My spying mission was at Oakwell . Report - nothing for Blades to worry about .

Radio 5 said Ward missed a very good chance. How did he play ?

I'd take that as a yes from Wilder then! Ward does seem a likely target, he's the type who'd do well with Sharp too.

My mate who is a Rotherham fan has said to me loads of times he's utter garbage so don't want him if that is the case

He was poor today Ricky/friethblade, although he didn't look fit to me

CW won't have learned owt from that match

He was doing well in the first half of the season, and Rotherham have been hopeless all season. Wilder will be thinking he can get him playing well consistently, and who'd bet against him doing that. His value will have also decreased a bit in the last few months.

do you blame them after this season lol my mate was heaping praise on him last season when he played LM said he was one of warnocks most important players

He might have been looking at Jon Taylor too, Rotherham's right winger.

my rotherham mate says ajayi has been immense for them , maybe even after this weeks events he maybe open to offers  whilst all the reports and what bit i have seen of EEL and championship football i dont think he will cope to well with the riggers of week in week out , i would love him to stay for the games where we could be bullied and as back up :)

I went to Stevenage v Barnet today, to see whether Matt Godden might be worth a punt. He scored but it was given offside, but he was lively. Probably not quite Championship standard, but could see why he's scored over 20 this season.

Pretty poor other than him. JCR was his usual skillful self but not much end product.

Actually, the highlight came at half time. The announcer decided to ask the 6 year old Barnet mascot what he thought of the game this far. He replied that the manager should be sacked and strolled off to the away end where he received a standing ovation!

He'll always go to a game when we're not playing. I shouldn't assume it means a signing is imminent or we'd have dozens of players coming in to join the hundreds of tyros we "shouldn't have let go" over the years...

Alan, Tufty and Paul (pictured below) will have had next season's recruitment in mind for a long time...

That's right. A shit manager will make the best players look shit. Like Coutts under Sadkins. Like Fleck at Coventry. Like Duffy at Burton.

At the Millwall game, Stuart McCall was watching us. I would think he's shitting it.

I saw Ajayi when Millers played Brighton and he was the stand out player and got MOM and deservedly so. Won everything and was composed on the ball for a CB

Today he was ok but didn't stand out. I said to CW that when I saw Ajayi against Brighton that I would have a word with Chris to sign him. :D Mate who watches Millers says he's prone to a mistake and Chris said that's what you expect from young players, but he also recognised that Millers have just signed him permanently. :(

I would guess he's taking in a game to see the standard of play/ players. Also to see if we can cherry pick any players like the above mentioned Ward.

Don't know if they have any other decent players.
