On the move
You need someone to bring you up to date. Why does your dog look as though it has just been startled out of having a shit?
It's not my dog....

After the usual dash for the 17:24, we made it a little more comfortably this year, and saw Kevin waiting for the train also. Seeing our shirts, he wandered over of his own accord, and talked quite candidly with us for about 10 minutes.
Deals in place apparently for Westlake and Whitehouse to stay where they are until the end of the season. Also sounds like Murphy, Taylor, King and Florent could be on their way. Me Dads a Doyle fan, and when he mentioned this to KM, he said that Doyle was the undoubted unsung hero in the team, and a great captain.
He was more confident on outs than ins (seemed Nigel had given him a list), and that it would be a case of one player in for every two out, but priority was streamlining.
In terms of ins, Alan Judge is apparently nearly done, with NC also interested in Bennett and Russell from Derby, and Beresford from Cardiff. McCabe seemed a lot more unsure on the ins, I guess it's a case of seeing what happens with outs first.
Oh, and Lappin is due to head back apparently.
I also got a slap round the back of the head from him when I took the mickey out of his ancient phone. He was in Standard class back (man of the people!) to Doncaster, so don't know if others saw him.
Overall, confirmed that they think exceptionally highly of Clough, and the next 2 games should be good if we play like we did today (and quite right too).
UTB, and Foxy etc. feel free to edit if it's too detailed transfer wise.
Well, fancy interupting someone elses dog having a shit. It's not my dog....
Ahhh right...so its all his fault eh?We are in the 3rd tier for 3 seasons in a row under his captaincy. Doyle said last year that not getting promotion isnt an underachievement and I couldnt believe it when he said that. I hate it when someone says things to belittle our club and it is even worse coming from our captain. He will never ever lead us back into the 2nd tier. As a Blade fan having seen us play in the top tier for 10 seasons, 26 seasons in the 2nd tier and since we had Doyle the number of seasons in thee lower tier has increased from 5 to 8 and it will go on increasing unless we eventually get an inspirational captain who can hurt the opposition
I hope we've turned a corner. I just find it weird to believe McCabe was at Stevenage and openly told a couple of fans about his JTW plans. The plans themselves sound even stupider than McCabe traveling to Stevenage.it seems having the seeds of optimism , even the thought we might be turning a corner , is upsetting the maudling , few who wallow in misery and long for us to keep suffering, ,personally I see signs of an up turn at last, not saying champions league or anything just moving in the right direction , wish some could self motivate a little less pessimism , and the half empty glass with a crack in it they seem to live with
blame is easy to throw about but just feeds the misery , lets move on and turn a page with nothing on it and see what transpires
