He needs to study Sharp and learn from him. They are very similar in that they are both poachers and don't contribute much else to the team. It's fine for a team to play that way so long as the rest of the team will create plenty of chances for them.

He's still very young. He's had a decent first season and his goals to starts ratio is up there with the likes of Beattie & Evans, our last strikers who scored consistently. If he continues to develop and spends a lot of time focussing on what Sharp does he will be ready to take the mantle from Sharp in a couple of years time.

He needs to work hard on his first touch and work-rate. Someone said his link-up play is a strength! I say it's virtually non-existent.

I agree he's got plenty to work on,and he's inconsistent...but you often see him get the ball and lay it off to the wing and then look for the return...or try and link up with players close by.He linked up well for his goal v Newcastle in the build up..first with Baxter, then with Che...another example was his goal v QPR which was similar with Baxter and Reed involved...i wouldn't say it's non existent, but needs work...Maybe it's when he has to hold the ball for a bit longer or running the channels where he needs most improvement.

Theres something there without a doubt.

Out of the two Livingston players we've got, McNulty is the one I expect to go on to make a decent career with us. Scougall hasn't get enough to his game.
