Sparky says goodbye

It's good to see a player enjoy being at the club so much but at the same time maybe he could have applied himself better. He could have done so much more for us, although I think there were times he should have had opportunities but didn't get them.

I hope he goes on to do well.

He might read this thread too, in which case...... go somewhere where you'll play regularly and WORK HARD!

It's no secret that I thought McNulty was a weapons-grade cocksplat for much of his time here, but he has shown recently that he does/did give a shit about this club. He just failed to show the required application of his abilities too many times and was too distracted by extra-curricular activities.

I've never denied his actual talents as a footballer. I hope he moves on, grows up and fulfills his potential.

Calm, calculated and respectful response?

Give the people what they want, Ty :D

Thanks sparky for all your effort!. Good luck for the future. The goals at Rochdale and at QPR in the fa cup stand out for me!. Utb

Not so much a goodbye more of a you don't realise what you'll be missing I'm BIG

Did well under Clough, then lost his way, would be good to see him stay locally, Chesterfield, Donny, Rotherham.

By his own admission, disappointing season for him, but probably learnt a lot from this season and just needs to get a new club and knuckle down again.

Pity he never managed to step it up again after that first season
Remember the stick Clough took over him ? Maybe he did know him best.

Absolutely right.

It's always been about the football for me. But he's not managed to apply himself in the right way, perhaps this season was more a case of bad luck, but chances were there.

Not sure what went wrong at Bradford really but it didn't work out there. Pompey seemed like it worked for him last year and perhaps he needed to go back there

Either way, he's earned respect recently for his behaviour and is clearly growing up
