One thing no one can accuse Souza of is lacking personality, I'll give him that. I can still see him coming good especially in this league and he probably suits playing fur a winning team over one fighting relegation. Some players related sh the battle of a battle against relegation, think Souza but less so Souza.

Wonder if he's just giving him a chance to put himself in the shop window. Rather than just letting him rot on the bench/reserves. After last season I'm not surprised that we've not had any offers for both Souza and Anel.

Anel and Souza are just the types that prefer the good times and deal with the emotion of the fans from the good times better. Likely similar personalties exist amongst some of the top Premier players and they never get tested with a switched off/pissed off fanbase and a relegation scrap/nothing to play for scrap. Luckily for us/them if they stay they will be the big kids in the playground next season and probably enhance their own reputations and our profits. 30m is silly but 15-18m each is about right now and hopefully that won't decline whatever happens..
