Souza and wilder

Hard disagree.

His ego is way too big, he's always looking to make a "look at me" big tackle for a cheer, but then multiple times gets dragged out of position by opposition. Every single game he ends up wrong side of the ball because he gets sucked in looking for a duel., and has to save himself by taking a booking. He's incapable of staying in shape and showing discipline.

He needs to sit in position, do the boring unspectacular work and be a cog in the machine. Unfortunately his personality and ego mean he needs to feel important and the star of the show, so he goes wandering around looking to be involved where he shouldn't.

He's still miles off redemption in my view
There’s Loads Of Arblasters Around There’s not much Vini Souzas

No player can be judged on last season. The whole squad was out of their depth, and disconnected as a group.

We had Anel going from a solid defender and fans favourite, to a lazy bombscare.

We had Archer on the back of ripping it up in championship to barely being capable of pulling his own socks up.

McAtee taking piss out of championship, to barely getting on the ball.

It's no surprise that Souza is much better this season.
It's no surprise that Hamer is ripping up the league.

The gulf between the 2 leagues is massive and seems to be growing.

I'd fancy our chances right now though.
Wilder has reconnected the players. They're visibly happy in training. They fight for eachother on the pitch. The leaky defence has been fixed.

Well said, my thoughts exactly!

What an absolutely hilarious take. Fucking hell fire

Too eager to get a booking IMO. Don't like these fouls given away in dangerous areas. One positive was that Swansea were a small side.

He needs to hold out next few games and then get booked away at Boro.

Miss Stoke at home. It’s a home game. Hopefully we can ride that out without him.

For the wages we'll be paying Souza, you could get another limited midfield player... how people think this guy is a special talent is beyond belief
Nobodys saying he's a special player, last year your comments were valid he was really poor along with about 10 others. But.... this year he's been decent, last night in a pretty poor game he stood out as our MOTM - yes he did get dragged out of position a couple of times annoyingly but overall his contribution was decent.

The difference between Prem and Champ is as we all know huge- but to me Vini is too good for Champ / not good enough for Prem - but to say he ain't doing a good job right now is bollox he's definitely doing well.

Stand outs for me last night Burrows/ O Hare ( ran himself into the ground) & Vini

Totally get everyone’s comments. He looks better because the opposition aren’t as strong every week. He’s definitely contributing. But people are making out he’s our best player 😂

He’s a very expensive Nick Montgomery with an exotic name.

I’d swap him for Ben Sheaf any time

Well you’d be looking at a good player for the 18 games a season he’d be fit then.

To be fair, it was accurate at the time. Vini has changed and the competition has changed. Bad times turned to good 😃
and the team has changed in general we have more of the ball and players around him who, in general , can keep the ball,

It's almost like he's been given a chance to look decent this season. Last season the entire squad had been given absolutely no fighting chance at all of being productive.
