It’s good to see Leicester have ITK fans, all of ours have disappeared. End of an era

We are now very strict with anything that gets leaked. People will lose their jobs. Therefore it’s unlikely anything will come from within the club

Any leaks are likely to come from agents trying to up the price or get another party interested.

Our genuine ITKers will not be putting the info on this forum or on social media.

Any leaks are possibly Wilder talking to his mates. Even they are now not daft enough to give full details. It’s all 🔜👀

Whilst I’m pleased to read that…what makes me doubt it is Wit (Wilders best mate) often alludes to club issues or ownership budget restrictions on his X page.

I think it’s strict until the point that the toys get thrown

It’s clear he wants to come and it’s clear there’s a deal to be done and that wilder wants him.

If we lose out to another club it’s only the owners to blame for taking too long to complete the deal and letting others swoop in.

Fans need something to cling to in terms of our ability to sign quality players to impact the first team.

We seemed to get the Brooks deal concluded quickly didn’t we.

And so it always is with SUFC- Outs take 24 hrs Ins take 24 weeks.

I do get that vibe but Elm still seems confident he is coming to us.

He said Adebayo was joining Leicester and then later that day, he was on the bench for Bristol City. He doesn't have a clue, the only people who are believable are credible sources - BBC, Sky, local journalists.

True but he said a contract was offered to him. If he has had a better contract offer from Bristol City and has taken it then no one would see that coming.

Always makes me laugh how the top ITK’s get so much stick. They can’t be right all the time.

I’ll give some examples. Surely the very best ITKers are the manager or CEO of any club but even they can get it wrong.

Example 1:
Warnock was interviewed several years back and he said the final days of the transfer window are absolute madness.
He said he once interviewed the player and his agent. Gave them all the details about salary/ expectation/ plans etc.
The player and his agent were very happy and agreed to join and he said they literally shook hands on the deal.
The following day the club was supposed to be drawing up the contract to be signed. So at the time this was a 99% done deal.
However Warnock said he was shocked to read in the paper the following morning that he was signing for another club.
Warnock said he rang the agent back to find out what’s going on and he wouldn’t answer his phone, kept switching to answer phone.
So this is an example where someone as senior as Neil Warnock can get it wrong, our fans would call him a liar but that’s not the case.

Example 2:
Our club was chasing the highly rated ex Liverpool striker Jerome Sinclair.
A deal had been agreed with the player and agent and they were both coming to the training ground to sign the contract.
Everyone was excited because this was a “done deal”. If Wilder was on this forum he’d be telling everyone not to worry, Sinclair is 100% signing for us.
However the agent went alone to the training to renegotiate a new deal and left Sinclair famously waiting at the Sheffield train station.
It seems that the agent turned up knowing United were desperate to sign his man, so he doubled the previously agreed agents fee.
We could have probably stretched to the extra but Wilder was furious and out of principle told the agent a deal is a deal.
The agent refused to budge and Sinclair saw his move fall through, he struggled from that day forward playing at little clubs, so it seems it was a sliding doors moment.

My point is just because an ITK might get something wrong doesn’t mean they are a fake deserving abuse.
All ITK should be taken with a pinch of salt, that is at this present time the green light is on for all parties for Souttar to sign for us.
However something weird could happen and it could change, maybe at the last minute Hull or Coventry might put in a £12 million bid and a bigger salary too.

I’m ITK

Heard (from an excellent source ) that Harry Souttar is now involved in a transfer tug of war between Hull and Coventry .

Think it was Richard Cresswell and he ended up going to Leeds instead, in 2005.
