Get Pochettino in for the Euros. He’d get more out of England’s talented attacking players than Southgate ever will.

Southgate has gone so far backwards in 12 months it’s unbelievable. Playing 5 defenders and 2 defensive midfielders at home to Denmark FFS. Not change of shape or personnel until 70+ mins. Absolutely no intention of using Grealish. No goals in open play in three games against Iceland and Denmark x2. Thanks for the World Cup run in 2018 but you’ve been exposed as the bang average PE teacher you actually are.

The FA will 100% keep him in a job though. He’s the perfect clean-shirt, yes-man they love.

We have a great group of attacking players yet Southgate decides we need 5 defenders and 2 holding midfielders. He’s also insisting on Pickford for some reason. I’ve never been sold on him and he’s starting to prove why he’s not up to the job

i would love pochettino. but they have since capello only do English/British & i feel we are stuck with him until euros

Yeh pretty sure he’s the second choice striker behind Kane as it is. England aren’t exactly stacked with decent number 9s.

I guess this didn’t age well at all after the Euros but I still think a decent manager would’ve got us over the line in the final.

Tidy finish but that’s the only thing he’s done in the whole game and it was put on a plate for him by Dybala, not saying he shouldn’t go to the World Cup by the way as we aren’t very well stocked in that department so he could go but it’s certainly not set in stone N’D.
