We need to bang 'em out to take some air out of their balloon, I don't want them in the play-offs.
I take Ricky's point but this Sheffield United under Wilder are of a different mettle.

I think Chris would rather avoid a backlog of midweek games and have the players fresh rather than worrying about the opposition.

He's got the best part of a week to prepare for Southend. He probably thinks that's enough to prepare the lads and go there and beat them. Certainly better than a long midweek slog.

Not sounding cocky, but quite rightly Chris has got us beyond worrying about the opposition and knows if the level of performance is what it can be, then we'll win.

Credit to both clubs for this. Makes perfect sense.

From a u United point of view this is obviously miles better for the fans and it is a good opportunity to put points ob the board and put pressure on our rivals. We had a game in hand for ages and looks what happened. Let's beat Southend and let Bolton be the one's several points behind with a game in hand.

Scunny play that day so it is an opportunity to keep up or stay ahead. It's crunch time for them with trips to Bradford and Bolton in the next few games. We may well be top and looking to stay there or potentially still on Scunthorpe's tail and looking to distance Bolton.

It also means that Olle can av aday art at the d seaside, drink ale, talk ballaks n watch United :)

Holiday Inn booked for £60.

The glamour of a trip to the Essex seaside in the first week of January is far too tempting to pass up.
travel lodge booked two rooms for £90 discount code (boxing day)to save +£30:)

Dont suit us booked a 40 quid sun midweek caravan holiday , for the main reason to do the Southend match from Clacton , no refunds on that , where do i apply for compensation ? who do i boycott ? where do i protest ? its just not fair .

When I get back to Kent I am going to look into chartering a small boat to take me across from Whitstable to Leigh on Sea.

Never arrived at a match by boat and be loads quicker than in and out of London.

Anyone any idea how much it costs to hire a small boat for 5 hours?
