Anyone remember which match - 4th Divn, saw the South Stand dressing rooms used for the first time?

I thought it was against York on 13 Feb 82, also won 4-0?

Was told by John Garrett it was against Northampton 7-3

It was Stockport. My dad and I were invited to the John Street dressing room after the Stockport match and there was just Steve Conroy there eating a pie. Can't remember who invited us there, it might have been Terry Eggington (his wife was a friend of my mum's) or Dick Chester (my dad collected the pool coupons from his house in Dronfield). Then we went for a little tour inside the John Street Stand and the hospitality rooms

Photo 4 - Edward’s scoring to make it 3-0 - shows the John Street dug-outs not in use…

And, confirmation from the end of season “Portrait of a Championship” souvenir publication…

Is Dick Chester still around?

I like how Stockport arrived at 6.30pm for what I presume was a 7.30pm kick off. Different times.
