Soumare, he makes me happy

He’s another cannon, only his settling in process has contained a language barrier issue. I, like others, have to eat humble pie here, because he’s been fantastic past couple of games leaving it out on the pitch having realised a bit of aggression and flair is what you need in this team. Keep it up lad!

Amazing how quick some were to write him off. The Roy’s view from, was pretty unanimous in it’s support of him, so he obviously had something, but after a couple of games, under the shitshow of Selles management and that was it, he was done. No allowance given for moving to a new country, new football language, new style, new teammates , plus a load more things and all at the age of 21.
Good to see him doing well, with potential to get better

Vinnie did the defensive stuff better. Soumare is more capable of the intricate/flair. Because he's now being paired with Jairo, he's shining. Keep this form up and those around him will help him shine even brighter.

Bloody love a redemption story.

Tbf, he had some promising minutes early on, particularly in the cup against Brum. His more recent performances before Stoke were genuinely terrible and I think it was fair to criticise him for them.

But as always, you should never write off any player, particularly a young one that's just moved country.

Sometimes it can take months for a player to get settled and find their best form, glad he showed us his potential yesterday 👏

His performance today very much reminded me of Souza in his prime.
I’d say he’s got potential to be even better as he can actually pick a forward pass. There was one in the first half he chipped over the defence into Brooks that was identical to the one Arblaster played in for the third goal. He also sprayed a couple across the pitch that McCallum failed to take advantage of.

He can dawdle on the ball sometimes but how many international signings have needed time to adjust to the pace of English football? He won’t be the first midfielder in our team to be exposed when a team outnumber us in the middle either. When you consider how young he is, he’s never played at this level before and he’s adapting to a new country I think he’s been an excellent signing and wouldn’t be against us trying to make his signing permanent.

Yeah he seems to think he has more time on the ball than he actually has. That's the main adjustment he needs to make to his game.

Riedewald makes everybody he plays next to look so much better.
Reminds me of Harry Souttar's impact.

Well, that’s pretty standard on here isn’t it. What amazes me more is the number of people who have presumably watched many years of football but are still completely clueless.
But then you have a lot of professional footballers, who work as pundits but appear completely clueless.
I find it interesting as to how few either think about, or understand the psychology of sport
