His performance today very much reminded me of Souza in his prime.

Tbf, he had some promising minutes early on, particularly in the cup against Brum. His more recent performances before Stoke were genuinely terrible and I think it was fair to criticise him for them.Amazing how quick some were to write him off. The Roy’s view from, was pretty unanimous in it’s support of him, so he obviously had something, but after a couple of games, under the shitshow of Selles management and that was it, he was done. No allowance given for moving to a new country, new football language, new style, new teammates , plus a load more things and all at the age of 21.
Good to see him doing well, with potential to get better
I’d say he’s got potential to be even better as he can actually pick a forward pass. There was one in the first half he chipped over the defence into Brooks that was identical to the one Arblaster played in for the third goal. He also sprayed a couple across the pitch that McCallum failed to take advantage of.His performance today very much reminded me of Souza in his prime.

He can dawdle on the ball sometimes but how many international signings have needed time to adjust to the pace of English football? He won’t be the first midfielder in our team to be exposed when a team outnumber us in the middle either. When you consider how young he is, he’s never played at this level before and he’s adapting to a new country I think he’s been an excellent signing and wouldn’t be against us trying to make his signing permanent.
although when he was tiring he did remind me of bambi on ice. When Soumaré gets his turn right, he makes his opposition look very silly.

He did that a few times last night. One of them made two Leicester players look like Debbie McGheeWhen Soumaré gets his turn right, he makes his opposition look very silly.
Vinnie did the defensive stuff better. Soumare is more capable of the intricate/flair. Because he's now being paired with Jairo, he's shining. Keep this form up and those around him will help him shine even brighter.
Bloody love a redemption story.
Well, that’s pretty standard on here isn’t it. What amazes me more is the number of people who have presumably watched many years of football but are still completely clueless.Amazing how quick some were to write him off.
But then you have a lot of professional footballers, who work as pundits but appear completely clueless.Well, that’s pretty standard on here isn’t it. What amazes me more is the number of people who have presumably watched many years of football but are still completely clueless.
