That performance did not make me happy...

Don't want to scape goat him as it was an understandably poor performance overall with so many changes and players being dropped in it a bit.

But for me he stood out as looking really out of his depth, I really can't work him out. He's definitely athletic but at times he looks so uncoordinated (see the OG). At times he looks sharp and wins balls but will often give it straight back and positionally seems all over the place. There's a player in there but he needs game time, think he could benefit from a loan in Jan and get someone more dependable in as backup for DM.

The biggest difference between him and Riederwald is decision making and speed of thought. There is probably a player in there , but he's a work in progress for sure

Regards the own goal….all he needed to do as clear it with his left foot…but he choose the right…got his legs tangled up kicking it into his own net.

The reason Soumare and Matos haven't been starting is Wilder knows they are bobbar and not to be trusted. The flu bug forced his hand and he literally had no other options.

Of the two Soumare is slightly better, but both shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11. It made for horrendous viewing and the own goal was a shocker.

Glad to have got out of ground with a point, even though Norwich for me were a poor team.

Only way he’d be a useful player is a situation where you’re leading and happy for the opposition to have the ball and you bring Soumare on for the legs and to destroy the oppositions play.

Could be very useful against prem teams in a cup run. But in the league he just doesn’t give the team any sort of platform from which to control the game and the team just can’t get into any sort of flow or rhythm.

If I was one of the other players I wouldn’t want to pass to him tbh

There is no way he should be considered as a permanent signing. Not got a football brain - postionallly poor and technically he is very limited. Should be a good athlete and physical but not sure we see that.

He was awful tonight and I felt he has been like that in many games other than maybe a couple of games he did ok earlier in the season.

Spot on. Matos was dreadful, he is tiny with no physical strength, can’t pass and looks like a liability. How on earth he got a Chelsea contract?????
