Likewise, I think he's a good manager and a good fit but if we're going to be expecting an instant impact we might be disappointed and we might just be in the same position next year. It'll be hard to hit the ground running straight away with the shower of shit he's got left.

I think give him 2 years we'll be up, expect a promotion in 1 and we might as well post his P45 now.

Very underwhelmed with this news to be honest, can't see how Wilder is going to be an improvement on Adkins at all.

If we could have got say Warnock or Simon Grayson then I could see the logic in sacking Adkins, but all I can see is we have probably spent £1m-£2m on compensation to the old coaching staff and Northampton in order to get Chris Wilder!

Hope I'm wrong and Wilder is a great success.
