"10 men went to shit, went to shit on Wednesday"

"Let him die" (when an opposition player is injured and being a fanny)

"Fuck em all, fuck em all, the long and the short and the tall, cos we are United and we are the best, we are United so fuck all the rest"

No pig fans in town seems to be sung infrequently now, which is a shame. Would much rather us sing songs like that over the viral ones.

Probably my favourite that one.

Shame that the teenage wankers don't know anything beyond Jack O'Connell and Paul Coutts or whatevers on Youtube at the time.

Hello hello Shoreham Aggro shoreham aggro

As we attacked opposition fans

“2-4-6-8, who do we appreciate?”

Granted, it’s a bit dated, it now has a retro ring to it, suitable for the BLUT to revive it?

The utter giddyosity glee and passion that accompanied -
" JACK E CHARLTON'S F---ED IT UP AGAIN " beats it's modern version into a tin of dolphin.

Inspired by a Football Nostalgia thread on a well known social media site.

I’ll start with a 70s/80s Classic

“You’re gonna get your Fucking heads kicked in”

When the opposition scored...

"We'll see you all outside
We'll see you all outside
We'll see you all
We'll see you all outside ..."

Nice ditty. Straight to the point and no messing about. Obviously the several hundred singing it at the time want to see the paltry tens in the opposition end 'outside' somewhere.

"I was walking down Shoreham Street, singin' a song
I met a Wednedayite walking along
So I kicked him in the bollocks
And I kicked him in the head
Now that Wednesdayite
Is dead."

Apart from the unprovoked assault and possible manslaughter/murder rap in this story, it clearly shows the cross city rivalry at it's zenith, particularly when unknowing opposition supporters stray into native territory and the singularly brutal treatment meted out for transgressors, thus.

"Oooh! Stick the boot in!
Oooh! Stick the boot in!"

A long forgotten tribal mantra chanted as fellow supporters crowd round a balled up opposition supporter as he desperately protects his vitals against a myriad of violent volleys and goal kicks to the back, buttocks and head. The 'Ohhh!' component suggests a slight psychosexual pleasure from issuing these punitive blows.

Cahill's:

"Hello! hello!
Shoreham aggro!"

Is another wonderful rallying cry shouted up after some hapless opposition supporter group have been thoroughly routed. It was seen (by me) to be used after an affray outside the corner of Shoreham Street and John Street when some quite young opposition fans were chased and battered. Good work hoolies, eh? :(

They should put them all on a special album CD collectors edition. My early recollection of songs at the lane back in the late 60's were classics like below.

Hodgy Hodgy ( as he ran towards the kop )
Addy Addy Addy Addy Addison ( Colin Addison )
This is to you Colin Addison, we all love you more than you will know, oh oh oh.. ( Simon & Garfunkles Mrs Robinson ).. Could be adapted for today's players.
His eyes they sparkle like diamonds ( Tony Currie tribute )
Tony Currie walks on water
We've travelled far and wide, we've been to merseyside but there is only one place we wanna be, and that is Shoreham Street, were we are magnifique, and all the Wednesday fans lay dead at our feet.
Bertie Mee said to Bill Shankly, have you heard of the North Bank Highbury, he said No, I don't think so but I've heard of the SUFC.

Watching a game from the 70's on BT t'other day, heard this classic.
In the (insert opponents) slums
They look in the dustbins for somefink to eat
They find a dead cat and they fink it's a treat
In the (insert opponents) slums.

Still sang by anyone when they play either team from Liverpool

We whistled and we sang til the Shoreham Street rang
And we’ll win the Cup and the Lee e e eague

Do war do wardy do war day
Do war do wardy a a

Repeat
