Unfortunately either there are bits missing or it it’s incomplete.
A full post with detailed explanations of what and/or who is being talked about would have made it rather more believable.

He was a rock at Everton and had options to stay. If you get a player of his stature, recent England International, on a free, you expect to pay wages I suppose.

People have been ridiculed on here for claiming he's getting £50k per week. he is getting £50k pw regardless of what the keyboard warriors want to believe.

The £4m player who signed a new contract in August, its not hard to believe he was given some sort of pay rise after last season.

£50k a week I don't believe it but you never know.

Would that include his signing on fee paid over the period of his contract?

Club clearly needs a new broom and start. The difference from the point where Covid kicked in to now is astonishing. I honestly thought the club was entering a new era and set for a bright future. Wow.
 
We need to end all of this speculation stuff and move on. We all love Wilder for the past few seasons, we will never forget it. But this season has been an absolute disaster. Whatever the reasons it is done, Wilder has gone and we have a huge squad rebuilding exercise to do because it's a mess at the moment. We need to get behind whoever takes over, be positive and patient.

Mate I'm 58 and I don't do social media. I'm not a keyboard warrior and I'm not interested in point scoring. You don't believe me that's absolutely your right, and it's totally fine with me. I'm just putting out what I know to be true. the rest is, as you say, opinion. All the best pal
 
Just read the OP and I would take it with a pinch of salt. Basically lists all the rumours that were going round in one post and the Prince has disputed some of what was said in his interview anyway eg training ground if you believe him.

also this is worth reading from one of the mods straight after. The original OP on reddit never responds.

I'm willing to leave this up but a few points make me think this is iffy at best, if not outright made up for a bit of a laugh. Happy for you to verify who you are with us mods if you like.
  • You haven't mentioned how you know all this except a vague mention you also leaving the club. Are we supposed to believe you're a member of the staff?
  • If so this post is likely against your contract.
  • You mention players being aware of a rift in the coaching staff that you didn't mention until the end. Is this the same one?
  • You say Egan doesn't have a wage drop, but Bettis has said every signing since he's come in has had one every time when asked. Why would he lie?
  • Bit stupid of Wilder to dig his heels in when we all knew Berge + another few would be sold. Not sure anyone is that arsed about Norwood.
  • My biggest point of skepticism... why post this on a niche subreddit of 3,000 people? Why not post it on S24SU or Twitter where there's a much bigger audience..? Or go to the journos, surely?

Mate this isn't a forum battle. I live in Sweden but I am a ST holder. My daughter knows Mrs Jags, and the reason I know this stuff is simple: A chat with me, David Holdsworth and Billy Sharp just after Jags was signed.

I'm not sure why people find it difficult to believe. If we had signed Jags for £1m and paid him the same as Berge or Egan no-one would bat an eyelid, but remove any fee and put it into wages instead and people think you're lying.

At my age I don't give a flying fuck what anyone on here believes. I just offered what I know/believe to be true information. What you choose to do with it is up to you. (that was a general statement Balham mate, not aimed at you personally)
 
Is there anyone associated with the club who has a DOB of 02/05/84?

Long shot but it would correspond with the user name.

Ah, see, when he signed from Everton he was on £50k but I thought he took a wage reduction on the extension?
