If Wilder stays, we go down. Period. We've then got to service a loan on the stadium with vastly reduced income. The idea that we'll definitely come straight back up is very optimistic. We should be doing everything to stay up. Not dwelling on past glories. It's patently obvious the players are no longer playing for Wilder. He's needs to go today, get Big Sam in, organise the team and start challenging again. With Brewster, Mousset and others revitalised, we can still do this. Leave it another month and its too late.
The word ‘period’ is an Americanism for the word ‘full stop’. Always really giving annoys me, when people do this, like when people say ‘math’ when we say ‘maths’, or ‘pissed’ when meaning ‘pissed off’.
There is also far too much use of ‘cool’ and ‘awesome’. Why do people feel the need to use these americanisms?

Anyway didn’t read the rest as you are also just a massive wum.

If players aren't playing for a manager, they don't all keep signing contracts!! Baldock and RND for example could probably get better elsewhere, that suggests they believe in this manager, as do i

Our main problem is scoring goals. If we replace Wilder, it needs to be with someone who can make this team more creative. I'm not convinced Sam Allardyce is that man.

I agree that he was underperforming, but the way Wilder layed into Berge for that miss yesterday summed us up. It was a half chance at best especially for a midfielder of his ilk.

We can't rely on that being our 'big moment' in a match and all we create

It was much easier than the one that Redmond placed into the corner with ease.

One is an attacking midfielder/forward, the other is a CDM.

You wouldn't judge Busquets for that miss in the same way you would if Messi missed it

He's an outfield footballer costing £22m, it's not that difficult a skill to execute from that range. I don't care what Champ Manager assigns his position as, he wasn't playing CDM yesterday and hasn't been during the majority of his time at the club.

The point is we can't be relying on creating one chance like that per game. And even if he got it on target the keeper might have made a very good save then what?

At least he wouldn't have tweeted about watching the game if he'd had a save to make. I'm working in small mercies at the moment.

100 %. Baring yesterday we are fine at keeping it tight - and not getting humped. But we stand no fucking chance of scoring a goal.

Not that I am advocating this but It Would be better off bringing Eddie Howe in at least his sides attacked.

On balance, I believe in Chris and would prefer him to stay when you consider the alternatives. My biggest concern is that the problems we have now: zero control in midfield, leaking defence and a lousy scoring record were issues that were obvious from the Kop well before the end of last season and yet the best CWAK could come up with was signing the Derby duo, the cardboard replica of a Chelsea reserve team player and a virtually unproven £20m kid. I am still not sure about Ramsdale but to me he doesn't, so far, seem a massive improvement on Moore. Totally ballsing up the summer transfer window is my biggest gripe with Wilder. Oh and I had completely forgotten that Berk (sic).

I'd rather we lose 5-1 having some shots on target and some guts, rather than meekly losing 1-0 with nothing to show for it.

The irony being Chris appears to be on the uk version of his period.

I think big Sam is a busted flush tbh, i know the Sunderland escape has been mentioned, but when that happened Brewster hadnt even started school!!
any of the other old brigade are also past it, Hughes, Redknapp, Pardew, etc
Marco Silva, to coin Jose, is a expert in failure
Eddie Howe imo is too weak a man manager to give this lot the bollocking and rocket they need

hate to say it, but the only one i can think of, and its almost unthinkable, is piggy Pearson....

remove the name and playing history, and ask your self is he strong enough to take charge? would he get them drilled, give the the fire back, and would he have the defeatist attitude we seem to have now

i know hes ex pig, and i know hes a massive bell end, and he will probably get the sack for knocking someone out in the halls of BDTBL

but, if you were in the trenches, and he was at your side ready to go over, would you take the piggy twat?

desperate times call for desperate measures

when do we accept its desperate? now, after ManUre put a few past us? at Xmas?

or, and im not totally against it, we accept going down and try to do what Norwich are doing right now?
the only difference i see tho, is they came up with us, accepted they would go back down, saved the payday and are stronger for it
we came up, gave it a go, finished top10, spent £100m and are now in that position - how?
also, and i didnt watch every Norwich game, but did they roll over like we appear to be doing?

i can face going down, i just cant face going down without a fight

Slightly immature when someone has a different opinion that’s against the majority of the forum they get labelled a ‘pig’ it’s inevitable with Wilders current form some people will be wanting him to go personally I’d give him longer because like what’s already been said I can’t see a better manager taking over a sinking ship and most higher profiled managers demand money I can’t see the Prince splashing too much when relagations glooming for wage purposes which makes sense and in Wilders 5 seasons in charge this one so far is the only one he’s gone backwards so does he deserve a chance to put it right? I think so just about even thought it’s poor at the minute and I think he hasn’t had the best window but each to their own I get why people are wanting someone else not too sure why big Sam'smentioned so often due to the above UTB

Pearson took over at Watford when they had 8 points from 15 games, a better situation than we're currently in, and with a far more talented squad than we've got. And still failed.

I don't know why names keep getting suggested because none of them will be able to do significantly better. We need Europa League form for the rest of the season just to stand a chance of staying up.
