Lets hope we are not in league one next season but if we are, who do you think will be the team that has done what L Orient have done this season and Tranmere did last season and Stevenage the year before that and that is lead the way at the top for a lot of the season or made the playoffs, did not make it up then the following season struggle with relegation. I had forget Orient lost in the playoff final last season.

Suggestions please........ and don't say us as we will all start fighting like small children again.

It's a good question Dave.

While Rochdale wouldn't surprise me my outside shot would be either MKD or Preston.
If they fail to go up automatic and then fail in the play-offs it may take some recovering from mentally (especially if it's PNE who looked nailed on only 3 weeks ago).
Not sure they'd go the whole hog and get relegated but I think they'd be bobbing around the danger zone.

Fwiw, and Clough haters look away now, it could easily have been us last season had not Weir left the room at the right time.

I think blackpool will start well but have a dip in league form mid season and finish strong towards the playoffs.

I'm off to General Chat, if we cannot talk about us in General Blades Chato_O.

If the Oystons stay in charge at blackpool they will emulate Yeovil
theres 7 clubs around the bottom 15th to 22nd that if they dont go down wont do any better next season purely on finances, ie crawley , crewe , colchester , , cant see orient notts county port vale and scunthorpe, ho are getting some investment and least likely of that group

of those coming up think burton might just stay up and shrewsbury hover there , but wycombe bury or southend , donrt see them troubling the top half

Naah. Preston and MKD have too much financial backing and spirit to flop.

Having watched Blackpool a couple of times this season, I can see them passing through League 1 [on their way to League 2] like a bad attack of diarrhoea.

Good post . TBH as long as it is not us , and we are out of this league i am not really bothered . In 4 seasons in league 1 , i can say that i haven't grown any liking , or infinity to any other team in this league . Just want to see the back of the lot of em.

Swindon have done well the last few years but they rely a lot on loanees and it wouldn't surprise me for them to have a wobble next season if they don't go up. Chesterfield's squad to me doesn't seem that strong? I haven't seen them play though. MK Dons have been building for a number of years but Karl Robinson will be lured elsewhere eventually and if they lost him along with not going up that might cause them to stumble. Given our resources I rely wouldn't expect us to drop that much.
