Can't see the one where he mentions the noise. Must have been another Twitter account that was on.

Great day out made all the more sweeter by the fact I live in Birmingham. The supporters were fantastic, we never shut up! Shoreham boys we are here woah woah

Words can't describe. So proud of SUFC tonight to a man. We have more bad days than good but that's how we do things!! Even so, todays result wipes out so many bad memories of recent years.
Very proud indeed.
COYRWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a funny old game! Lose at Walsall, win at Villa. Can't think of a bigger result away in the Cup, and I've been going 52 years.

Suddenly puts Lambert's comments in perspective. He just didn't fancy it.

Anyway, draw at 14.00 tomorrow and we're...

Match to be played w/e 25-26th Jan. so Colchester away is postponed.

Absolutely buzzin at that result, can't wait to see the highlights on TV later. Of course SKY say the result of the round is Rochdale's home win over the scum up the M1 :D:D:D

I can take only being second best result of the day to that one to be honest!

Just got back from the game and I tell thee what... One of the best games I've been to in my life. The crowd, manager and players will be ever so pleased with what they've done today. Every single player contributed to something positive today. Flynn, Doyle, Maguire and Hill were especially excellent. We were lucky in the fact that Villa didn't take advantage of the pace of our defence with leaving Agbonlahor out and we dealt with the other faster players such as Albrighton and Benteke superbly. So so proud tonight of everyone. Cracking finish by Flynn and everyone just lost it as it hit the back of the net. Almost lost my voice!

Still buzzing. I should be thinking about getting some tea down me but I feel more like doing 20 laps of the garden. Feels like I've been trapped in a room with David Flitcroft for 3 hours...

This is the best away cup result in 47 years for the Blades. Absolutely brilliant.

Since winning 1-0 at Charlton in 1967?. If you were thinking of the 2-1 win at West Ham in 1968 (Phil Cliff scored both goals) then it is 46 years ;)

Every so often, in amidst the depths of despair they find new ways of introducing us to, this unique club manages to remind us all why we bother and why we should continue to bother. CFOYRAWW

That should be inscribed in stone raul inspired!

Was brilliant - hugged the guy next to me (top man btw) and it felt like a really special achievement, right up there with THAT play off final

Well normally I just lurk on this forum but iv had to join tonight just to say how proud and thrilled I am to be a blade, best following iv ever been part of at an away game..
Buzzing tonight.

I am a bit of lurker too living in NZ...but am welling up as I type this......I really hope we get some highlights over here. Nice one Blades and kia ora to all the Blades who went.

Don't cry, you'll set us all off.
Well I took the wife today and she isn't that bothered about football but I saw a tear in her eye when we won.
And seeing as her dad and brother are Wendy fans I think united are getting to her heart and that annoys her family no end which really amuses me:)

Back home now (via pub ofc), immense fans and the best I've seen us play in a long time. Pretty much non-stop support the likes of which I've not seen in this country basically ever. Kind of jelly to see who we get next round

The whole day had that feeling ,saw loads of old faces and still felt we would win even when they scored.

Well done to everyone who went and the team who gave us one of the good days and lets face it we all deserve one!! We may moan but when the time comes we can take 6000 away fans to anywhere

Bee watching the blades for 50 years now and that is in the top 3 performances I have ever seen from a Blades team, and the support today was in the top 2 . My GRANDSON WHO HAS COME WITH ME FOR THe last 4 years learned today what it is to be a blade. I have always told him what the support can be like, and now he has witnessed it. He has not been as excited ever, well done to the team and well done to the support.
To be with my grandson to see what the blades are all about is one of the highlights of my life.
