So predict the Prems bottom three next May

OK 6 games in and in fairness both of Norwich and Villa are having a right go at everybody and I think this will ultimately pay dividends for them by getting more points than some of the other lower half teams, with this in mind i'm now (in true Sky supercomputer predictor style) changing my bottom 3 to
Brighton
Newcastle
Watford
Not one of the promoted teams getting relegated.

I'd be worried if I were a Villa fan.

They have a go for a bit but for 70 minutes of every match bar Bournemouth they've been battered, low possession, high shots against them, can't get out, just makes the opponent scoring all the more likely because despite what some would have you believe, Tyrone Mings is not superman and has got a 50p head and clangers in him like many others.

For me Watford look a better team than Villa and Newcastle do despite being rock bottom and if we finish below any of those three we'll go down imo.

Wolves will do a Burnley and recover after Christmas.

I know we are only six games in and it is very early days to make predictions based on the handful of games played to date.

Watford look in a bad place. Low on confidence, new manager, shipping goals. The new favourites to go?

Newcastle have only scored four goals the same as Watford. The natives are not happy and the owner uninterested. They seem to be set for a relegation battle.

I can't see Wolves going but the European games have been a distraction. They are underperforming at the moment. It will not be easy to turn fortunes around.

Norwich and Villa, one of these two will go. A promoted team is usually relegated. Can't decide between the two.

Watford/Newcastle/ Norwich or Villa.

So many club names thrown up in this post (too many to list here) might just be an indication that more fans are beginning to realise that there are a fair number of teams who actually might not be as good as the Blades!! - Wow - Eureka!!!!!

We only lost 5 homes games in the last Premier League season and were relegated. We've already lost two this time around.
It was 6 we lost at home that season. Reading,Chelsea,Man Utd,Man City,Newcastle & Wigan. If your going to be a smart arse at least get your facts right.

Watford and Newcastle bottom 2

3rd spot, up for grabs. Brighton, Norwich, Villa, us, Southampton are the main contenders.

Outside chance Palace, Burnley.

We only won 3 away and drew 2 last time too... 11 points on the road. We already have 5 after 3 games.

We're in better shape this time around.

Once again, we are so lucky to have you Seth.

After 6 games, we have a reasonable return, which if extended, would clearly have us safe. We still need more from the new signings in my opinion, but our biggest and most underrated strength is the defence. To have the 3rd lowest goals against after 6 games is outstanding, and better than anyone could have dared hope.
This alone could keep us up, and I must say it is brilliant not to go into games expecting to get hammered.

We drew one away. 0-0 at Man City. So a total of 10 points away from home all season.

Newcastle, due to the Bruce effect, think our owners are bad then take a look at Newcastle. If ever a club was in crisis it is the barcodes.
Villa, this lot could well be last seasons Fulham, spent a shit load of money on what is virtually a new team. A bit like a Mr Chansiri did a few year ago and it got them nowhere.
Brighton, I watched them in the FA cup last season and they were truly shit against Millwall I will never know how they got away with that one.

Other struggler's will be Bournemouth, Southampton, Burnley and maybe Norwich for the simple fact they have hardly done any business so far. They conceded a lot in the championship I can see these taking some big defeats now they are up against better teams and players.
I thought I'd revisit this thread to say from what I have seen so far all the promoted teams look like they have a decent chance of staying in the Premier league. Villa are doing better than their results would suggest, Norwich are going to pick up wins and a few hidings, they do conceed a lot. We are doing the best so far but we had the easiest start on paper. That said two of the teams we have played are in the top six the rest are on or around the same points as us. One I didn't see coming was the form of Watford they despite having some good players look dreadful. For now I am sticking to my predictions of Newcastle and Brighton to struggle but have now got to add Watford to my three for the drop. 8-0 against Citeh but their players showed no pride in what they do and the body language just screamed they dont care, they have big problems.

No home game between 3rd March and 7th April during which time we lost Hulse to a broken leg.

That killed us.
