Doesn't matter, as the blades will romp the league, unbeaten, but because of us playing in ineligible player, West Ham lodge a protest, and it's upheld so we take their place as the bottom club with a record 120 points deducted, with a 3 year ban from transfers and West Ham get our parachute payments plus substantial damages for the mental anguish of them almost being relegated.

You missed the bit where they're awarded the trophy and Jim Dale collects it in his pearly king suit..

After the last three years, why would any proper Blade think we were gonna go down?

Answers on a postcard to 308 Sheffield Road, Birdwell.

Norwich because I don’t think their defence is good enough and they won’t be able to blow teams away in the prem.

Brighton, think they’re gunna regret sacking hughton.

Newcastle, Bruce is shit.

18. Newcastle
19. Norwich
20. Brighton

As it stands, Villa because 1 of the last 6 who have gone up via the playoffs have stayed up. Then 2 from Brighton and Newcastle due to self imposed/incompetent managers situation and Norwich as someone pointed out earlier they have defensive frailties.

Perm any three from this six;

Villa
Norwich
Us
Brighton
Newcastle
Burnley

If we can get 24+pts in our matches against the above teams we should have a good chance of staying up.

My prediction would be similar to this, however,

I would add Southampton.
And Crystal Palace if they don't keep Zaha. Maybe even if they keep him. Watching MOTD, they always look like a one man band.
Possibly a couple of others could slip, like Bournemouth.

If we don't get home wins against most of this lot, and a few points away, then won't deserve to stay up.

My prediction though is that I think we a much better chance than last time to stay up. I won't be unhappy if 1 or 2 of these flops (like HUdds or Sunderland the year or two before us last time), that will improve odds :)

If people bet, then I'd look carefully at Newcastle. I think they could completely flop with all the morale issues, or could do pretty well. Too risky bet for me.

I've given it some thought, and these my final 3 (though not in order)

Brighton
Soton
Norwich

Newcastle, due to the Bruce effect, think our owners are bad then take a look at Newcastle. If ever a club was in crisis it is the barcodes.
Villa, this lot could well be last seasons Fulham, spent a shit load of money on what is virtually a new team. A bit like a Mr Chansiri did a few year ago and it got them nowhere.
Brighton, I watched them in the FA cup last season and they were truly shit against Millwall I will never know how they got away with that one.

Other struggler's will be Bournemouth, Southampton, Burnley and maybe Norwich for the simple fact they have hardly done any business so far. They conceded a lot in the championship I can see these taking some big defeats now they are up against better teams and players.
