Wilder saying he classed his time away from Bramall Lane as "an extended holiday" is
1/ A total insult to Ruben Selles
2/ Is just confirmation of what everyone knows he is, an arrogant, despicable little man !
He went on holiday, and didn't come back for an extra few months. That's an extended holiday.
What's arrogant about that?

That wilder has got this record against his name which never can be erased !
Also, I despise the way he is talking about some of the players that Ruben Selles brought in as though they are his players, instigated by him.
Temper temper, back to true form, the owner's will be reminiscing back to Portsmouth away !
You think he should come out and say they are shit and he wishes Selles hadn't signed them? Great man managent skills.

Fair enough reply, and an intelligent one at that. So, I will say this once, and once only.
I have been going to Bramall Lane since I was 10 when my dad first took me there, walking down from Hunters Bar. John Harris was the manager, and Woody and Currie were my idols. I adored Dave Bassett and had personal contact with him.
I worked at the club on a voluntary basis over serveral years involved with the promotion department ( I will not mention names for obvious reasons, but the person I worked for will be known to many of you)
My biggest disappointment watching United, apart from going to the semi final at Wembley against Wednesday was going on a coach to Cardiff to watch the massive deflation of losing to Wolves.
I could quote a vast more information regarding games, personnel player's etc , but that would be purely tedious.
I support Sheffield United, love Sheffield United, and still treasure all of my replica shirts, none more than this shirt.
I am a blade through and through, and if people on this forum can't accept that my views are based purely on my dislike of wilder, that is their perogative
The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

I think you’ve gone to a lot of trouble there, trying to convince everyone of your Blades supporting back history and pedigree, then you ruin it all with some random stock photograph off the internet, of your supposed favourite shirt!

Get upstairs, fetch it down and take a photo of it on your settee before 11pm, or otherwise in my mind at least, you’re an infiltrator from S6 🤔

The Silky Sabella favourite shirt, no show, can only mean one thing, I’m afraid !

Silky Sabella.
Listen up, lad, I was born and raised in Sheffield, my great-great-grandad supported the Blades when they were formed in 1889. Our family are all Bladefans and proud of it.
My Dad took me to my first game at Bramall Lane in 1966. A proper Blade does not Slag the manager off. Chris Wilder deserves respect for what he has done for our beloved Blades. But you won't understand that with your mentality, would you.

When we were in league 1….at the start of every single season I felt confident/ hopeful we would be promoted.

The final game at home to Scunthorpe under Adkins changed that…..it suddenly dawned on me we could easily become a Bradford or Notts County spending decades in the lower divisions. I was throughly depressed……and when we appointed Wilder I was underwhelmed and not that bothered.

When Wilder arrived I’d already accepted failure and kind of given up, for the 1st time in years I didn’t go to the 1st 3 home matches.
Once we won….I started going again and we just kept winning and winning playing some really good/ entertaining football.

I remember the 4-0 home win against Port Vale, a game where we spent almost the entire match in their half and we even had 4 goals disallowed for tight off side decisions. After that game I felt emotional because we’d been so good I knew we would be promoted and something very special was happening.

So for me…..Wilder will ALWAYS have a free pass….I’ve supported us since the mid 70’s and that 100 point league 1 promotion season was so one sided and dominant it was incredible to see. Still say Mark Duffy is one of my favourites players over the last 50 years. Thank you Chris Wilder.

I'm afraid this one has made the fatal mistake of siting a repro shirt as his favourite..

He should know like we all do that it was never available with the laver logo on the front, unless it was player issued..

And I can get mine out of the wardrobe, if asked 😉
