Is anyone else really fed up with the constant negative comments being made by some blades?

Im chuffed to bits about how well we have done this season. Yes, we need to make some improvements but name a team that is perfect?! Some of our fans are starting to sound as bad and fickle as Arsenal fans. Win a game - "in wilder we trust... promotion soon..." Lose a game (or even concede a goal) - "there all sh#t"... "need to get rid of xy and z in the summer"

Come on blades, get behind the team. Its unlikely we will get into the play offs but you never know ⚪⚪

Isn't it just.

Clearly wasn't at Oakwell. Despite a real poor performance for a hour of the game, missing chances, conceding sloppy goals, and seeing another nail in the play off coffin, the response from the fans was excellent.

But hey, why comment on probably close to a few thousand staying and giving the players and manager not only a standing ovation, but a loud cheer as they left the pitch, when you can talk about a few negative social media comments or the bloke who booed at half time.

It's the Blades Way, We're ALL wankers at the Lane etc etc.

Nobody can deny what a disappointing week it has been in terms of results and it's understandable how pissed off many were. However I was surprised at how many on here seemed to chuck the towell in at 6pm Saturday, especially when you consider the 2 home games we have coming up.

That being said, if we don't win tomorrow I am chucking the whole fucking bathroom suite in o_O

I think the situation has arisen due to our excellent first half the season. This raised expectations and was unfortunately followed by a second half season of shite. If the season had panned out as many predicted at the start (i.e. a scrap to avoid relegation) then the whole season would have been similar to recent months, i.e. shite. In the latter case scenario we would have been playing in front of sub-20k gates and every fucker would have been moaning. So in Blades-speak we are ahead of the game in that instead of us being in our usual moan-factor 10, we are only on about moan-factor 5.

I'm really bored with people moaning about other Blades fans expressing their views on a message board. Is anyone else really bored with this?

There's been some interesting stuff since Saturday about where things have gone wrong and how it might be fixed, and what will happen next year. If we all sat about with our fingers in our ears going "la la la! I'd have taken this at the start of the season" it would be a less interesting place to post, I think.

If you don't like negative stuff, challenge it with a decent argument.

Exactly.

It also irks me a little that some are quick to slate our fans for moaning or not making noise etc, but you barely ever see posts praising our support when it's justified.

Season of two halves innit.
The last two years have been great. I think we’ve known we’re not quite there yet for a while. Let’s see what rabbits the lord wilder can pull out of the hat over the summer. The forward line needs upgrading most now imho

He doesn't know which of our owners can afford to buy the hat yet, let alone rabbits.

People are saying the 2nd half of the season has been shit but I have still seen some great football played by us and have had many work colleagues praise our football , never before has this happened!

I'm damn proud of this team and enjoy watching us play football

Yes the 2nd half the season has been very mixed results wise ( and a few very poor performances ) but still a great season whatever happen

the Duff man's bounce killer goal will live on for a long long time as one of the best goals scored and that was just one of many great times this season

I would much rather finish 8th playing football, than finish 8th under Blackwell or NW !

Agree, 2nd half of the season we have still played well most matches, playing on the front foot.

Of course I’m generally really pleased, just very dissapointed because we had a great chance of reaching the playoffs.
Also the irony is that our positivity has cost us a few points, hope Wilder doesn’t be one more cautious next season
Because I’ve really enjoyed most home matches, even when we’ve lost we’ve been entertaining and positive.

Also you can’t stop thinking of what might have been if Coutts hadn’t been out for the season.

If the Peroni Kid is dissappointed then i'm dissappointed and he was dissappointed, but as he said we are still in with a shout, got two great home games coming up,things can change in the blink of an eye.

Football fans are the same the world over. They always want more, and I never like to see either set of Sheffield fans go down with Leedsitis.

Don't let's fall into that trap.

Arrange the Championship clubs from 1 to 24, based on squad strength.

If your particular club has finished higher than where it stands in the batting order, then it's had a good season.
