Something must be putting them off........

I wonder what the brief/constraints are in order to put a seemingly great choice of club off?

Savage Wage cuts?
Promotion in first season?
stick with Doyle?

Too much of a risk for Wilson.
Too similar to MK Dons for Robinson with the wage cuts.
Wolves still have a lot of money and makes them an easier proposition for Jackett

Maybe our fans put them off..

Christ where to start. Trigger happy Owner.
A proven track record of picking the wrong man
No money for players
Best players sold on an annual basis
Players who are mates of the Owners son brought in
Owner who is more interested in blades bladeyness than actual ability to do the job
Owner who is talking about selling up but makes the price totally unrealistic, hence no future realistic investment
Owner who wants someone who just nods and says yes as he does as he wants
Jacob Essan (or whoever) and his travelling circus of non investment
The absolute shambles we are in

Nicking the list off Dazblade but I'd suspect that the inability to sign any of these [or equivalents] is what's putting them off.

There's plenty of free agents available this season.

I've been looking through the ones that are already confirmed as released and the realistic half decent targets that fit into what we're apparently trying to do could be:

Ashley Eastham, 22, centre half from Blackpool
Richard Wood, 27, centre half from Coventry
Aziz Deen-Conteh, 20, left back from Chelsea
Scott Wagstaff, 23, right winger from Charlton
Jacques Maghoma, 25, midfielder/winger from Burton
Korey Smith, 22, central midfielder from Norwich
Tom Adeyemi, 21, central midfielder from Norwich
Matt Done, 24, left winger from Barnsley
Danny Haynes, 25, striker from Charlton

Smith and Adeyemi from Norwich would be good acquisitions to a youthful development squad.

I think they were well regarded prospects a couple of years ago, but with the canaries flying high they have limited options for first team action, and no future at Carrow Road.

They say Adeyemi is a straight "A" student as well. Smart young fella. Perhaps he could teach the others how to tell the time?:)
