So after all the various disgruntled comments about seats and ticket allocations, I got hit by a smoke bomb thrown from the BLUT after the second goal. Some poor sod took the brunt of it then it cannoned off him and hit my arm then my foot. The stewards all stood staring up at the Forest fans long after it had happened, several people reported who had thrown it but nothing was done. One steward claimed the police were going to arrest the fan at full time. Some young kid on the front row retaliated by throwing an empty plastic bottle back at them. He was out of the ground, rightly so I suppose, within seconds but it kind of begs the question why the scab wanker stayed in his seat and he was dragged out.

So… basically nothing happened, there was no danger, no risk, but you were a bit miffed.

Very English. Very Sheffield if we can unionise this let’s get a March

Some aggro in the South Stand above the directors box as well that was resolved by fans.

Only time we saw a steward was to let us know the perpetrators had been kicked out and he’d watched the CCTV 😂

Some aggro near me in the SS, some twat shouting abuse at Ged Spence and at the end of the match threatened a blades fan because he'd got a difference of opinion to him! There's some right nut jobs following us at the minute.

Some pricks about, same old issue of not being able to handle beer or enjoying their drugs too much.

He was a knob, try to forget about him, he’s not worth your time.

Some concession stands ran out of beer at half time in the family stand, some fans should be ashamed how they reacted to this - the abuse they were giving to the staff was absolutely disgusting. I get you want to enjoy yourself and have a beer but if you can’t go 45 mins without one then maybe you’ve got a problem and I certainly don’t think it entitles you to start abusing someone - it’s not their fault it’s ran out.

Several people around me were miffed. A lot were also very frightened. It was only reading the difference between actual flares and these new faddy things on here that prevented me from panicking like the rest of them. Its very cramped on that BLLT and people were desperately trying to get out of the way of it. It's easy for you to write a snarky comment, not having been there.

I was there. You are over dramatising it.

I was at Forest away in the ‘90’s when a young blades lass got hit by a thrown flare and burnt (thrown by a blade). So I know the danger.

The smoke bombs nowadays are generally only a danger if you suffer asthma or similar. Otherwise it’s just a bit of drama

My mum levelled an immigrant in tesco to beat her to a discounted 10p tea cake.
She doesn't even like tea cakes, and didn't go through with the purchase. She's just racist.
It's the end of days.
No wonder Putin is going unapposed in Australia.

Grown men using the laughing emoji here. Pathetic. I’m sure you’ve bred some absolute winners in society.

We’ve been going through all that ourselves at away games this season from our own supporters with smoke and beer being thrown and hitting young children and disabled people

Because stewarding and policing at Bramall Lane is largely about letting the away fans do what they want whilst apprehending or filming home fans for anything.

You forgot snowflake and woke too.

An honest question do you just come on here to vent and goad? You may be a lovely fella, but you come across as a bit childish and simple.

Forest hooligans were having a go regular fans including young kids in blades shirts and people just sat having a drink outside industry tap... proper chavy wankers, so disappointed we didn't beat them

I dare say it's because if they film a home fan, they'll aim for the same fan the week after and try and nail em for owt. Whereas the away fan won't be seen again. Easy targets.

I'm not condoning the behaviour at all, but the frustration is understandable.

The whole matchday experience at Bramall Lane is poor. The queues for a pint, the speed of the staff etc... just start pouring a shit load of pints ready for the hordes of people coming.
They must know how many they sell on average. Pour them and then dish them out.

I've already said I know and agree with that in principle. Try telling that to the people who didn't know that when it happened.

The ironic thing about smoke bombs and flares. Clubs, officials, the league, stadium security etc all discourage yet when a goal goes in it’s the first thing cameramen and videographers focus on at games.

Liverpool fans must have had close to 50 yesterday in Wembley at full time and the BBC were all over it for footage.

I’m in favour of them. They help with atmosphere. JUST DON’T FUCKING THROW THEM.
