I don't know what to make of Sky's coverage of last nights game, on one hand it's showing of the blatant penalty on O'Connell was brilliant but it's constant panning in on the Coventry chairman and the protest groups while the game is going on and were missing the action was pathetic. Then to hear the commentators condoning their pitch invasion was poor, surely they know it's illegal to do that.
I wouldn't be cynical enough to suggest that SKY were hoping that something might happen to give them a scoop and hours of controversy to trawl through but that's not right is it.;)

Not sure they condoned the pitch invasion? They certainly sympathised tho. yep, spot on re the penalty though, totally blaytant and they called it.

At the risk of shifting the narrative and hijacking this thread, it's a shame to George Gavin booted off Sky. I've always thought he was one of the better anchirmen...

As for your point, that is exactly the reason Sky broadcast the match the way they did. Snidey fecks.

It was all about Coventry's situation. We've done very well to come away from it with 3 points and that's all that matters.

watched sky news over last night and this morning and they persisted in saying we were 1 point ahead of bolton in second , and i point BEHIND scunthorpe whilst showing the table on the screen clearly showing both on 44 points
sloppy
or the usual anti blades treatment

Commentary was mostly focussing on Cov on and off the pitch, yes

I thought it was the TV companies unwritten rule was to not show pitch invaders ,and waffle on about something else while showing something else.

Can't stand Gary Birtles. Apart from Andy Townsend he has to be one of the worst commentators ever and generally has very little to say about us that's positive. His ramblings about us on local radio after we had drawn 1-1 with Forest in the play off semi at the city ground and seen Dawson sent off were nothing short of scandalous

because it's unwritten team SKY had obviously not read it ;)

Sky are always on the look out for another story other than just the football. I went to Chesterfield so didn't see the game on Sky but I would imagine the Blades / Ched / Chesterfield story was as important as the game itself.

that chip still weighs heavy on his sloping shoulder
he hates us
he bulled up Coventrys play as though they were atletico madrid
when in fact they scraped back in the game due to a freak deflection
