At the Valamar Diamant Hotel Pula, Croatia, to be precise.
I know the match is on Sky. Does anyone know if there are any bars in that locality that have SKY Tv that might show the match?
I know we are a much traveled lot on here so would appriciate any suggestions on this one.
Hopefully It will be on somewhere nearby. Another problem is my partner of 15 years has no interest whatsoever in football. How do I break it to her gently? Do you think she will notice if I disappear for a couple of hours that night? What excuse could I make for my disappearance? Help.

Do you have WiFi in the hotel? If so use ifollow. Assuming it’s not on Croatian tv. If not just have a wander round when you get there and ask bar owners. Simple

Don't tell her, take her out for a meal and then a drink... Make sure the drink is in the bar showing footie and then act surprised. Haha

I was out in Croatia last year and remember seeing quite a few places showing English footy, most of it pl though.

I’ve been in Montenegro the last couple weeks as well and very much the same here too, loads of places showing Pl.

Sure if you were having a meal or a few drinks you could twist their arm to get them to flip over to the Blades. Few locals have commented on my shirt this year so we are known around these parts.

You should be ok in Greece. We were in stalis in crete last year and they were showing 4 or 5 games at the same time in a few bars. I've seen the same thing in Corfu too. Zante will be the same I would think.

Anyway. Me and Mrs Ken will be in Croatia for the Birmingham game and hadn't realised that it was on Sky. We're in Opatja- around the coast from Pula - so I'm looking to see if there are any bars showing Championship football.

In the summer we stayed at the Valamar in Porec in Croatia, excellent hotel. They showed all the footie in the bar, but the WC was on at that time. The hotel reception should be able point you to a local bar with Sky, but they also watch German and Spanish football.
