GLTTL, hope he has an excellent career apart from when he plays us, hell find it hard dealing with the tennis balls

Last time a saw Simon (in person) he was letting 3 in, in 7 (or was it 11) minutes against Man U and looking completely out of his depth.

Problem is, that’s what he’ll be remembered for, that’s just how it is.

In reality, decent keeper, loyal Blade, much respect for him and hope he does well in future.

Speak for yourself; that's not how I'll remember him.

Maybe by fans who only started paying attention when we got to the PL. For most of us, he’ll be remembered for coming in and providing a huge upgrade on George Long, and being a huge part of a solid defence in a league-winning team that got 100 points.

Rather have kept Moore and got rid of Fotheringham.

I'd rather both went and we had Verrips and Eastwood or Verrips and Dewhurst/Amissah

Moore needs to go and play football, he's a decent midtable/lower midtable keeper, deserves some games.

Foderingham is one of the strangest signings Wilder made - I've seen him handle it outside the area twice and he's played for us in maybe 3 games(?) he's cack.

Good luck to him. Very good pro. Helped up the levels in the keeping department to get the journey underway.

Any chance we can loan him back for the Kit Launch! 😂

It’s difficult with the young keepers because if they stay around sat on the bench for too long you end up with a wildsmith/dawson situation where they stagnate and don’t get to go out make mistakes and develop. Rammers went to chezzy and Wimbledon and then came back to Bournemouth to be number 1. Probably best to send them out and let them learn.

Agree with you on Foderingham very very strange signing even weirder on a 3 year deal especially when older experienced keepers can be picked up pretty regularly to be 3rd strong players.

The lack of bitterness from reserve keepers always amazes me. It's an accepted role being a 2nd/3rd choice keeper for some, basically a training partner/fluffer for the 1st choice. You wouldn't get the same with outfield players.

I would say it's a goalies union thing. Yes there's competition but also something of a kindred spirit thing.

Even though I'm old and knees are fucked, my lad wants me to help train their goalie when it falls within my work shifts, never done that before but I'm looking forward to it. Might even sign as a back up if needed but can't do it regular. Anyway this kid is a lot better than I ever was

Excellent pro, came in & did a great job when we needed him & has knuckled down & done everything asked of him. Not his fault we outgrew him but never sulked or caused a problem when not picked & provided able support, mainly for Hendo. He deserves to be a number 1 & I hope he enjoys being that. Still only 31 so a good few years left for him. I for one will remember him fondly, GLTTL.

Agreed. I remember him pulling off an excellent save at BDTBL from Adam Reach in the last few seconds against Wednesday to keep the score 0-0.

He comes across as a decent person, a good pro and has been part of our journey. He's never appeared to act up on or off the pitch, and has been a valuable squad member.

He deserves 2 or 3 years as a No. 1 somewhere. GLTTL.

I'm sure most will remember him for being partly responsible for an upturn in results in League 1 that ultimately got us 100 points.

And for that save v Pigs when Stearman wiped him out.

My Cov supporting workmate is raving about how good Moore is, and I must admit, if Rammers goes, I'd rather have Moore in goal than the 2 were left with........ oh well, GLTTL.

Great to see him do well. I'd like to see Verrips given a go tonight if Ramsdale is left out. I think in Moore's case he had to go and be a number one somewhere. Don't think that was ever going to happen with us but would prefer him over Foderingham as others said. But he needs to be a number one regardless.

Signing foderingham over him is the ultimate piss take after how loyal Moore was and how much better Moore actually is. Bet foderingham was on higher wages too

Think we only signed Fod because Moore had that nasty hand injury.

Can't see Moore's wages being less than Foderingham though personally.

True but like I have said before he didn't need to come here on a 3 year deal.

Aye, that was daft.

Moore is probably better than Foderingham, but we need better than both if we want to be up the top end of the league.
