That is my thinking, hope its not.
Going on Ipswich's forum they seen unanimous in that they don't want to lose Waghorn.
McGoldrick they just laugh, good player but slow and injury prone. They seem to think has soon as he signed he would be injured.

I think purely from the medical staff and the clubs point of view they would insist on doing the full medical at the start of the trial because you’d imagine that if any injury happened while he was with us then we’d be liable for it. I don’t know for definite, but I think it would make sense.

I think it would be a different medical, for insurance/ financial risk and presumably at an offsite hospital like thornbury

Indeed, I think you're right about the medical at the start of the trial, but from a legal point of view, would he need another before actually signing a contract?

Fingers crossed it is Waghorn, but I wouldn't be upset if it's McGoldrick. Looks a handy player to have around.
