Wonder why no other team in the division has attempted this method recently?

Maybe next year if we stay up by some miracle we should try and sign another 2 players from one of the relegated teams as well, another expert tactic from our glorious leader

He knows best 🙏 🙏 Ayew's already a success because of a superb (literally average) 10 minutes at the back end against Fleetwood. Another thing he was right about

I'm really confused to why we were so obsessed with bringing in experience like we had a team of 18 year olds. A few older heads obviously help but filling your team with them was just bizarre.
Agree totally - from Wilder’s interview tonight he seemed genuinely surprised players like Doherty and Rothwell weren’t up to it; “I now know which players to pick for Saturday” - how could he not know they’re well past their peak? Its been said on here plenty of times but the scouting / player selection at the club is abysmal.

We're desperate, and signing names rather than decent players is what desperate teams do. We sign old players, slow players, lazy players and injury prone players, who it's pretty obvious are just here to pad out their pensions. They don't come cheap either as they suck money out of the club with their ridiculous salaries and if we sacked these mercenaries off tomorrow I'd be a much happier man.

Riedewald, Rothwell, Doherty and Brereton Diaz are woeful. Oli Norwood was playing better football than these fuckers last season.

Arblaster, although Wilder can't see any wrong in him, and Norrington Davis look terrible and although Phillips is a very good player, if he can only play 60 or 70 minutes he needs a kick up the arse or he can fuck off as well.

Ayew will probably end up in the first paragraph as he's hardly here to make a name for himself, just another Danny Ings that we didn't need to waste money on.

I would probably say beacuse as you mentiond no one else wanted them and we cant afford to bring anyone else in. We are left with the scrapping at bottom of the barrel that have no offers anywhere else so we can go in with nice cheap wages.

Its like school football where you have to pick ya teams and theres always that last kid left no wants, but theres always sheff utd that will be happy to pick um. Taking of I wonder if thats how wilder plucks out his starting line up with his coaches on a friday.

They bring culture.

Anyone with eyes could see that last season in our better spell we often started well, faded badly around 60 minutes and then hung on for 30 because we couldn’t run.

So what does he do? Compounds the issue by signing another batch of players ready for a zimmer frame and then wonders why Fleetwood are fitter, faster and more competitive in absolutely every area of the pitch than us.

This culture carrier bollocks needs to be buried and we need to join 2026 with the rest of football where height, pace and athleticism are some of the most important attributes.

I watched a video the other day of a fitness influencer going to do a premier league football medical where they finish by going all out with some cardio to test the players lactate threshold and V02 max and I was sat there wondering which of our new players would get anywhere near top results. I’d be surprised if Ayew even survived it.

Burnley fans saying Walker is awful and one suggested he should take his family on holiday and stay there!, so he'll be on our list in January
