Everytime we change from stripes we have a shit season. The red band strip, Boxing Day massacre one season relegation to the fourth in it the next.

The diamond strip we get Mike Macdonald and Charles Green running the club and Dave Bassett leaves.

I know it sounds daft, but i think the shirt does have a psychological effect on opponents. Anything that makes the opposition forget they are playing a bigger club, has to have some effect no matter how small. For years the little teams have come here and defended like we're Barcelona even though we're crap. The name, the stadium, the fans, the shirt, all play a part in that.

Best shirt we've had in years. One of the (very) few positives this season. I might even buy one once they go down to £15-20. Being over the age of 13 I wouldn't usually buy a football shirt, but might make an exception for this one, providing it doesn't come with one of the sack of shit players in it.

Same here - I reckon £20 this summer and I'll buy one to go with my 120th anniversary limited edition - bring on 130!
