Leons epic achievements of late have been overshadowed by results.
I think It’s a bit unfortunate for him that we can’t keep the ball out of our own net.
That was an epic goal last night,14 and counting.
It’s Just a shout out for Leon who is a class, class act.

Absolutely and a very large slice of humble pie for me. Mid season last season I had been lambasting him as a waste of time.....how wrong could a man be? Sorry Leon, you have proved me wrong. Great season so far. Keep it coming.

Proved me completely wrong.

If Tufty figures out the best way to partner him and a system which plays to his strengths, then watch out!!!

I thought he looked like the old Leon first half
The one who's played for every league one club in the country
Second half though he looked like this season's Leon and that's the one we need

Was disappointed in Brooks again last night totally anonymous

Spot on re:Leon. As I've mentioned, I'm certain Leon didn't star in Wilders plans this season and Donaldson and his pace was supposed to be the main man.

Brooks is a funny one but without Fleck & Coutts to give him the ball he's looking increasingly ineffectual... Guess part of his development is going to be learning how to get the ball himself.

me too, I was only saying probably about the Barnsley home game I think it was that Clarke would never ever score a goal at this level again. His work rate was good but lacked the quality. This must be what it's like to be Pinchy.

thought Donaldson did a bit better yesterday as well
Think they all need to step up a level really
As soon as they drop a level of intensity they look very ordinary
Think that's what wilder is trying to get through to them

Make the most of it chaps, he’s been great but the pay cheque at Villa will prove to be too much to turn down for a last payday.

His form will have dipped by then and hopefully they will get the pigs version of Leon :D

Bet you a thousand pounds he doesn't go to villa

It woz a great strike.
What a guy!

That was a top class goal last night. Rather got lost in the defeat.

Would be amazed if he wanted to go & even more amazed if we let him. Don’t think there’d be a deal that would suit both clubs and the player.

Would love to see him and a pre-conviction Ched tearing the league a new one in the 2nd half of the season.

Just watched his goal again, he made it for himself out of nothing. Don't know if this area of his game has always been this good, but since the back end of last season his finishing has been truly phenomenal. Just bangs them in from wherever; deft chips, screamers, side foot, whatever you like.

The other thing that jumped out last night was the series of step overs he did in their box. Neymar-esque!

Against Bradford his finishing was beautiful.
I agree he knocks all types in. Also using right, left, and heading. Fucking phenomenal.

Maybe so, but Leon's under contract.

Just picturing a steely McCabe: "Sorry Villa: it's a no go!" "And sorry Leon: you're stopping here!"

Seriously? From what Wilder was saying all last season and through the summer, what made you think Clarke wasn't in Wilders plans? And Donaldson the main man? Gior lad. I said last season Clarke and Sharp would be our main two up top this season and I came to this conclusion from the things Wilder was saying all last season about the pair of them.
