Should we sack him and bring clough back ?

Definitely. I wish we were shit in League One but gave the cups a good go. Plucky little Sheff United knocking teams out the cup. None of this ‘loser mentality’ we’ve got at the minute!

Wilder is the man who has taken us from being a bang average League One side, and won that league, and we have thrived in the Championship, to the point where we aren’t far from having a side good enough to win promotion.

If Wilder wants Madine playing for the club then we should trust his judgement

If Wilder doesn’t want the distraction of the FA Cup, and want his first team players getting knacked in a cup game then we should trust that,

Some of the petulant, child like feet stamping from some our supporters over the last few days has been infantile at best. The club is in rude health when it comes down to footballing matters, and although we have had in the past plenty of reasons to be disgruntled, now is not the time.

So I suggest people pack it in with the feet stamping, tantrums and grandstanding, and take a look back to where was 3 years ago, and begin appreciating what Wilder has done for us, and get behind him and the side.
So, if you prick me, do I not bleed?

Are you suggesting Wilder tried to throw the game?

Indeed - I find it incredible that some of our fans can't see the disappointment that some of us feel - it's not losing that counts, it's HOW you lose that matters.

Today was an embarrassment to the players on the field and the club.

Well done Barnet for sticking it up us - you deserved it.

UTB

Not worth getting worked up about mate.

A small percentage of our fans are only interested in trying to show how they're the biggest Blades of all.

How ridiculous is that sentance? Maybe a meteor from space might have slammed into Norwood? Or maybe aliens may have abducted McGoldrick.

Personally I didn't have a problem with the team selection but look at City today.

I won't criticise Chris today because those players should have been capable of better as a collective.

Doesn't matter if Wilder has won us the Champions League.

There's absolutely no excuse for losing to non league opposition at home.

I agree, there isn't. But it's not the first time it's ever happened to anyone and it won't be the last.

We are still a championship side and have nearly half a season of championship fixtures to look forward to.

Now, if we were a fourth division outfit who had just fielded a full strength side and got soundly whooped by a mid table non league side at the second attempt...…………………….

I don’t have a short memory Brownie, I’ve said elsewhere how much I love and appreciate what Wilder and his team have done. However you can’t just brush it off like that mate. I know it’s your opinion, but a lot of people on here have made reasoned, valid and factual points about what happened today.

If it’s as easy as saying “our manager should be able to pick any 11 and they should go out and beat Barnet” then I might as well have managed the side today. I know who we have in our squad, but would people trust me to coach a side all week and then send them into battle, no matter who the opposition?

Not starting a war of words, just disagree with the short memories thing as a way of brushing this off.

Let's all agree. The FA Cup means fuck all. We are above such matters. Premier League is everything.

Toss.

It hadn't happened to us for over 100 years before today.

So we've managed to dodge the bullet for quite a while then. Reasons to be cheerful and all that!:)

I think failing to win against non league opposition after two attempts with a full strength side ranks as just as humiliating.

I only saw one tackle today that looked nawty. Their man was booked for it but could have seen red personally speaking. None of ours put tackles in. Nobody would have broken sweat today ne’er mind a leg.

I understand your point but it’s irrelevant.

There was the one in the 2nd half on the touch line John St side their guy went flying in not dirty just hard.
I saw Johnson look like he had problems with his calf, one of our centre backs was also limping a bit, and i think Dowell got caught and was walking a bit gingerly in the 2nd half.
We will have to see if these players are ok.

I hope they aren't fit for Saturday.

Reading Wilder’s comments I don’t think it’s us you want to have a go at regarding temper tantrums. I know those players played shit today but he’s well on his way to losing a fair bit of respect with some of those comments directed at them. It can’t help matters is all I’m saying.

Loose respect? Respect has to be earned and many of them wouldn’t be championship players were it not foe Wilder. He’s given them the opportunity to state there case and quite frankly it looked like some couldn’t give a fuck. A kick up the arse is what they need. Not mollycoddling
