Two Sheffield United tabs, but no ****** one!

Just as weird, in the end photo there is a ****** tab...but it's not blue, it's white! :)

This could be worth getting provided the magnets stick to the fridge! Be much better than our lasses magnetic alphabet letters.

I don't like the points thing. Who in their right mind would spend hours filling in the points then rubbing em off every game??

Plus there's no conference or scottish teams. Bit underwhelming all round to be honest. Match magazine is still going and has a free wallchart with tabs this week, though it is aimed at 5 year olds. I may get one though!

Don't remember the magnetic ones but I always use to get the paper ones. It was a wallchart just the same but the tabs were little football shirts that were done in the colour of the club they were for. Can't remember which magazine they came with though. Probably Match.

Unfortunately I can also remember the paper ones which had the names of the actual teams printed on,(none of this write on,wipe off nonsence !),still tend to think these came with shoot! mag tho ?
While we're on this sort of thing tho, anyone remember the old subbuteo players with paper slot in players, before the 'proper' plastic ones evolved ? No ?...just me then ....:(:tumbleweed:

Give over, "Shoot" is a relative newcomer.

The original ones were in the Beano (rather than the Dandy, I think).

The only "colours" used were different shades of grey, with all the teams in Division One and Three looking the same, except for the names, and similarly Division Two and Four.

As soon as the "cards" arrived you had to carefully pick them out, and then I'd run that season's FA Cup, using a dice (a six being equivalent to zero).

Happy days

Does anyone have a spare 'Luton Town', I used mine to 'wedge down' my fighter's head, sister never realised :)

I used to love the Shoot ones, by Christmas they were always beginning to look ragged around the bottom where they had been pushed into the slots

Used to do something similar with the Shoot ones. Keeping the leagues up to date lasted a couple of weeks - I was really only interested in where the Blades were.

It's a little alarming that Match magazine and MOTD magazine think that Hibernian are in the SPL. :D
