Souness just said that o'Connell and basham wont go forward against this wolves side, if we do it against every other side including liverpool and Manchester city what makes wolves side any different

There's been a reluctant to do so over the last few weeks.

Interesting to see whether that changes back now Wilder has his main back 3.

Ref already starting. Freekick to Wolves for fucking slipping.

Norwood was about 2 foot away from him when he started falling over.

Absolute dogshit

What a ridiculous free kick to award

The ref signalled advantage to us but we didn’t get any then gives that as a free kick. Ridiculous decisions already

Traore is a scary player to have facing you!

After a good start we have dipped a bit.
Most generally playing ok but we need to get going more down the right hand side. Berge needs to demand the ball more and drive on. Baldock is game as ever and their wing back Jonny looks suspect

Midfield has been absolutely atrocious, this partnership upfront does NOT work, and Enda has turned into Chris Hussey again.

But apart from that. Not bad but not great.

Wolves are a very good team but we're doing ok. Need to look after the ball better. Giving it away needlessly on occasions.

Wolves can neutralise anyone.

Hardly surprising one of the weakest attacking units in the league are not creating anything.

There is a difference between having a good/great game and making a difference in the Prem.

We’re playing a lot better but we’re too slow going forward. Get ourselves into unreal positions and then sit fucking about with it and allow almost every Wolves player back to just float a ball into the box. If we got the ball in the box quickly we’d be dangerous.

Tight game, similar to the reverse at Molineux. Jimenez is quality.

Mcburnie seems to be winning loads in the air. Think we'll see papa mousset in the second half

Anybody know who that guy who was stood in between wilder and Knill was. Noticed before they seem to listen to him?

Think Ozzy and Enda's had poor games so far. Feel like I say this every half time but, get Moose on!

Slightly odd performance. Started well the first ten minutes, and have been barely on the ball since. When we have we’ve been wasteful. Osborn’s been excellent since he came in, but he’s not hitting the standards he set in those games so far in this. Midfield has been pretty anonymous, and the front two have had little to work with. Defensively though we’ve been great.

Let’s not get away from the fact that Wolves are excellent on the ball. But if we crisp up our game I think there’s a chance here.

Stevens incidentally played that half as though he’d been transplanted from the last meeting between the two teams at the Lane. Encouraging one minute, infuriating casual the next, sometimes in the same move. Classic first season Enda.
