Frustrating first half. To be fair, they've been better than expected but we're too slow and predictable. What's the point having 4 players stood on the wing tapping it to each other. We need to get the ball out quickly and early crosses in. Stevens is too slow and ponderous (whatever happened to the fearless player we signed?) and there's no joy down the right.

Basham (wtf was that dive?!) looks like a mistake waiting to happen and the defence as a whole has played some sloppy balls and given away possession in dangerous areas. I fear their pace on the break (Mackay and Asouro).

Henderson is not inspiring me with confidence when he has the ball at his feet.

One big positive note is McGoldrick. Looks assured and linking up play. Not sure he's a natural fit with Clarke though.

We need Duffy or Woodburn on and to try and give them more problems. Towards the end of the first half they were growing in confidence and they;ve got some dangerous players.

Evans, Fleck and Lundy just don’t work well as a combination. Their natural games don’t either drop off to pick up the ball and start attacks, nor drive forward centrally. Everything coming down the flanks again but, as with the tail end of last year, we’re asking defenders to provide attacking quality.

I wouldn’t hestitate to bring on Woody/Duffy now personally. Swansea are making mistakes and are sooooo sloooow. We’ll kick
ourselves if we drop points here

What we’ve learnt about our team.....basham is not good enough...turned inside out.....lunny....not good enough...goal pass apart has been shocking...for the first time I can remember we look disorganised!

Too late Wilder... getting what what we deserved. Not learned from last season...play that 3 in the middle and we create naff all, Basham still in the back 3 and we have mistakes at the back.
