I’ve read the QPR match reports which shows QPR tend to play open attacking football, even in away matches.
So this should be very different to the Blackburn, Reading and Birmingham where they started the game very defensive trying to contain us.

Suspect this will be more like the Sunderland match with quite a bit of end to end action.

Last week I predicted a 1-1 draw against Birmingham followed by a 2-0 win against QPR.

QPR were impressive in their last game away at Bristol City and they’ll be quietly fancying their chances of beating us, like they beat Watford on their patch.
However I expect our players to fully be aware this could be the best team to come to BL this season, so they’ll be focussed expecting a big test.

Prediction: We seem to have a great record of winning home midweek night matches….anyone know the stats?
So I’ll go for a fairly even tough match….but a 2-0 bounce back home win….Sharp to score.

They are looking good under Micheal Beale.Villa haven’t been the same attacking wise since he left Gerrard. It could be a tough game , but we are as good as anyone when fully firing. The tired legs worry me though after the quick turnaround and recent internationals.

For all those saying QPR play attacking football on the road...

Currently they have the 4th worst avg number of shots away from home!

We've conceded every game AA hasn't played, expect this to continue. Going for a 2-1 win to the mighty Blades.

Really hope we bounce back to win. Pretty rusty performance on sat. And Brum did a job.

Not had a pen in any of our games yet. Either for or against ...

Tough game, I was confident we would beat Birmingham but we didn’t, and I’m not confident about beating these so we probably will.

Doesn’t mean that they don’t play attacking football ! Just don’t get in a position to shoot.

WE ARE UNBEATEN IN 10
AND UNBEATEN AT HOME THIS SEASON
1 HOME DEFEAT IN LAST 20 IN 2022

A great reminder that we are actually doing pretty damn well.
I am prepared to keep my sheets dry for the time being.

Different game tonight, they’ll go for us like Sunderland did, we need to get an early goal and hopefully control the midfield

Tough game. They're good on the counter. We need a much better performance from our midfield.

Relax !
We are top of the league...
We are at home..
It's a night match...
We have one of our £20m strikers on fire...
We have the Championships best midfielder...
We have Iliman ,they dont !!
What could possibly go wrong ?

Team selection will be interesting. Don't think he'll play Khadra LWB again. Bogle, Baldock there?

Also wouldn't be surprised if he randomly started McAtee
