At least we might try a new formation or give one of the young lads a game. That’s more important right now than playing Jags to be honest.
 
What an absolute shitshow VAR is

If its a sending off it can be given in normal play, "last man" has been in the rule book since forever. I bet none of the officials on the ground even considered that might be a red card.

It then gets overturned on a still image.

Nobody on the pitch thought it was a red. Nobody approached the ref to question if it should be red. This is simply VAR making an appearance where it's not wanted.

The problem is if a ref is advised to look at the screen they're almost compelled to alter the decision because being advised to look again pretty much implies that he should.
 
If that decision was based on a still image, there was 1 still image that looked like the ball was out for Liverpools 1st goal

It’s as simple as that, the idiots making the decisions will get it wrong whether they’ve got a replay to watch or not.

The technology is fine if it is used correctly.
