1 page on next season. 1 page on their galacticos ( rusticos ?) 3 pages on how unlucky they were last season 1 page on why they're still in a better position than us, 10 pages of them sending pictures of their cocks to Chancer in gratitude.
I thought that smell in S6 was the tuna..........

More Costco than Galactico, methinks.

Who buys papers these days its very very old news. The star are always the last with the news online as well .after they have read newsnow.

There's an advert in tonight's for someone to write about the budgies. To be part of the match day team !

Okay Blades and Bladesses.
Long ago, when monster trucks ruled the earth, the wendy's reached something called the Rumbellows final. The League* cup by any other name.
In the week building up to this the Star sent out monday's edition with a front and back page spread.
Collecting my Star from the corner shop, I paused, removed the creature feature and gave it back to the shopkeep.
Next day the wendy content was doubled, again I returned the unwanted diatribe.
This carried on throughout the week until just about two pages were actual news. The rest... I can't bear to remember.
Upon seeing me approach his shop, shopkeep readied my star. He pulled out the actual news, handing it to me and charging 20 odd pence and binned the rest.
All this was done in silence. As you would expect.
UTMB

* Not to be confused with sea depth which swillsborough experienced 2007

Alcoblade sorry mate but the Star is heavily biased in favour of the snortbeasts at S6, this was never more evident in their sickening begging for the pigs in 70's, you may or may not be old enough to remember; us that do it was cringeworthy.
They still managed the 2nd best ever headline in the Green 'Un though.

Personally I think the best ever football headline was on the front page of the Sun. John Barnes was manager of Celtic. Inverness Caledonian Thistle had just been promoted to the Scottish First Division but couldn't be promoted to the Premier League (even if they won the League) due to their ground only holding 6.000 people. Celtic got hammered. The headline:
58808

16 pages on rust, must have magical properties....oh yes delusional, we will p1ss "La Liga this year"....won't we..don't have to worry about the blades they got relegated to the PL.

Schooldays for me then. Some brighter and more talented Blades managed to alter that save our ###s logo to one in red and white with the owl sinking.
Dunno if it was ever printed. Not seen one since.

I go on line to look at the news most days, under the sub headings of news, politics etc it has Sheffield Wednesday and, usually underneath 'sport' we used to have our own Sheffield United to click onto, now we are under sport,

'in 70's'

For all the oldies on here remember the 70's when we had to endure the Save our Pigs campaign

I’ve never heard of this before, and I’m shocked it’s never been mentioned on a Sheffield Star thread before.

Has anyone ever mentioned that Radio Sheffield is really biased too? Can’t believe that Rob Staton is still on Football Heaven every night. I hear he supports that lot you know.
