Blades hope to sign former Man city star Georgi Kinkladze, the idea is plc chairman Mike McDonald will buy the player for £2.5 million and lease him to United through one of his companies, if personal term can be agreed.
Manager Adrian Heath said 'I don't care who pays for him as long as I get him.
Mr Heath also says that Lee Morris is set for a come back at Crew tomorrow and if the 19yr old plays it will trigger a Multi-million pound transfer to Darby that will allow Heath to bring in three or four new players including Bruno Ribeiro of Leeds.and although a fee has been agreed with Marseillefor striker Arthur Moses it's not his top priority, he would like to bring in a midfielder and a defender first..

Inside -
United have had their £500,000 claims against Huddersfield and Steve Bruce rejected.
The claims were that Huddersfield had induced Bruce to walk out in May to become their manager and that Bruce had breached his contract.
Bruce walked out on the Blades because he was unhappy with the boaredroom turmoil and having to sell players while not being able to buy.
Within a week of his resignation he joined Huddersfield town.
A united spokesman said the club accepted the panels deciision and all charges were dismissed...

So we narrowly avoided a "3rd-party ownership" shitstorm with Kinkladze by (i) not buying him; (ii) having Heath in charge thereby guaranteeing we wouldn't get promoted.
