Unused sub in the 1-1 draw at StockportSagi Burton
He was.
He's still the third most recent player to score a hat-trick for the Blades.
Known Chris a long long time and theres a sad story about how he threw his talent awayWhich players have played for us, and have gone on to have the most unremarkable careers?
Just one rule
1. Must have played at least 1 senior game for us since 1988 AD (Anno Deano)
I'm hoping we can populate this list entirely with people I've never heard of.
I'll start us off with Chris Bettney. Played one game in 1996, and had a career so unremarkable that his mid career stats are unknown

No one who has watched the blades in the last 15 years would call Calve obscure
He was tripeChris Hussey.
Now he was hard , Dropped the bighead John Fashanhu like a bag of sh*t . Lane end corner , if my memory serves me right .Jonas Wimloay sold to Malmo Oliver Tebiley sold to Celtic
AgreeI rate him as the worst player I have ever seen play for the Blades. My abiding memory is of Bury stuffing us at Gigg Lane in the League Cup towards the end of Bassett’s reign & Blount being the standout in a truly woeful Blades performance. He was absolutely toilet.
Dean Sturridge had a pretty good career!Jean Calve
Auturo Lupoli
Elian Parrino
Panagiotis Retsos

Benoit Croissant

He came on as sub away at Fulham. Small skinny lad, didn't look much like a footballer. We were comprehensively beaten that day and it was pretty miserable.Stuart Wilson. Anyone remember him? I don’t, played 6 times on loan from Leicester in 2000. There’s no pictures of him online playing for us.
Missed a last minute chance which was easier to score! I've got a feeling it was against Wolves? Friday night on Sky?Remember the game he played, looked shit hot in the first half. Cant remember who it was against. We lost. Never saw him again.
