Yep, 6 was already a club recordAt Reading. Going back to 2009. Must be a record.

Do you have or current run? Are we close to breaking it?By way of comparison, the record for consecutive defeats is 16 in a row away at Villa between 1902 and 1921.
Think I went to the two games previous to this run. Typical! Seem to remember a bit of aggro between the staff at one of the games
That was the last one we didn’t win.My favourite there was Keef getting sent off and the sight of Christian Nade barrelling off the bench ready for action.

We are nowhere near close to breaking that run anywhere. Our worst current non winning league run is 14 games at Villa, but there have been a number of draws in that run.Do you have or current run? Are we close to breaking it?

Yeah with that big ginger haired lad up front.... Always used to be a bogey teamTo think my memories of Reading in the noughties was their Steve Coppell teams turning us over every time we played them.
I always think it’s incredible that they managed to move to a ground even more soulless than Elm Park, described by grounds guru Simon Inglis as “the least interesting ground in the league”.For clarity, I meant my favourite aggro, not my favourite game there... I've seen some shite in that soulless place... even when we've won![]()

After the 2002-3 win we drew 1 and lost 9 of the next 10 league games.Funny how things change.
There was a time in the first decade of this century when we simply could not beat Reading home or away.
I remember us winning 2-0 at their place in the 2002-3 Triple Assault season. Jon Harley scored one of the goals. We then just couldn't beat them for what seemed like ages.
Ipswich was another club around that time that we couldn't seem to beat.
Same here mate. I went a few times during that period and saw us get beat every time. Don't think I've seen us win there (it's probably my most visited away ground, oddly). But since I've stopped going it's no longer a bogey team.To think my memories of Reading in the noughties was their Steve Coppell teams turning us over every time we played them.
We had 7 consecutive league away defeats v Man Utd until 20-21. I'm struggling now to see any bigger figure than the 4 v Chelsea. We are nowhere near close to breaking that run anywhere. Our worst current non winning league run is 14 games at Villa, but there have been a number of draws in that run.
Our record at Villa Park is wretched.
The Chelsea run is only 1 game. We drew in our first PL season under Wilder. We had 7 consecutive league away defeats v Man Utd until 20-21. I'm struggling now to see any bigger figure than the 4 v Chelsea.
Edit. Scrub that we drew there in 19-20 of course. Any advance on 3 v Liverpool and Newcastle?

Yes, I realised and edited. As I say, I'm not seeing beyond 3.The Chelsea run is only 1 game. We drew in our first PL season under Wilder.

There have been a couple we have thrown away there, (I'm thinking of being 3-0 up and the nil nil draw where Hawkeye wasn't working). We are nowhere near close to breaking that run anywhere. Our worst current non winning league run is 14 games at Villa, but there have been a number of draws in that run.

If Clark is fit we better play him now , before his hammy goes again.Squads looking strong. Anel back saturday so Basham or Clark drop outta 18![]()
Same. I have had some shite days out at that place. To think my memories of Reading in the noughties was their Steve Coppell teams turning us over every time we played them.
