We have so many stupid posts, don’t know where to laugh, be angry or feel sorry for the lack of brain cells regards some of our posters.

Can only assume some of these posters are school kids, simple people or people on the wind up craving attention.

Is my memory playing tricks but wasnt it the same comments and panic last season too. Everyone was convinced there would be no more signings and we would finish bottom half. There was even plenty of Wilder out comments and the obligatory “we lack ambition, sack the board”.

We went and brought in several players near the end of the window.

The players brought in at the last minute were Cooper, Souttar and Rak-Sakyi, maybe a few others but remember those 3 were very late signings after the season had started.

Our supporters think we should have put pressure on Plymouth, Leicester and Palace insisting we want the player now or we’re not doing business. Showing patience paid off and obviously we’re using the same successful strategy.

Bettis has an excellent track record at getting his man but leaving it late increases the risk that a club will think we’re desperate and try to over charge us.

Might just be my old mind in hope mode , but I get the feeling we're going to have a couple of really good signings and a couple of left field ones.
What really makes me smile is a lot of us including me , have been clamouring for the club to "get rid" of RND and JLT suddenly when it looks like we have the opportunity and for " money " its the worst idea since marmite .

I can never understand the 'transfer window isn't shut yet' defence. How far behind do we have to fall then, before something positive happens and we actually get players in who can address the needs? 3 points? 6 points? 9? The transfer window may well close without us bringing anyone else in. If it does, what will be the coping excuse then? 'See what happens in January'???

He knows perfectly well the backlash against him after Wembley, and his comment is purely an indirect dig at Selles. This after just one game.
