This would only work on a single tiered stand which is why I keep on saying the John st stand should be the one used to house away fans, this system would be ideal to split that stand which is rarely sold out anyway.

I suppose it creates a physical barrier, but wouldn't stop fans getting at each other if they really wanted to as it's not high enough. But saying that most fans are full of shit rather than actually wanting a scrap and prefer a barrier there so they can shout and gesticulate without getting close to being cracked.

John street could be split as the concourses are segregated too....however I feel it's a bit big to give to away fans. Plus the boxes and suites are there which are home areas, as well as the players families lounge.
I still prefer lower tier for away supporters, sold in blocks so that spare allocation unsold can be sold to United fans as we did against Chezzy.
