It will soon be time for the renewal to be announced. I'd like to see the club offer free wifi to season ticket holders in the ground, hopefully mr Batho can pass this on.

Apart from Championship football what else could the club do to add real extra value to the season ticket, ideas anyone?

£10 ST for juniors raised to age 14. (No self interest there then :) )

All STH numbers in a half time draw, prize is an Exec box for the following game.

Hot air blowing from outlets near your feet on the kop, for those cold winter matches! Regarding wifi, the signal is shite on the kop.

setting up wifi for potentially 5000 users would be an interesting problem.. the shed structure of the kop doesn't help the signal, neither does having them all trying to connect to the same cell at once

That wouldn't be my problem. Don't you already get free pies in the rest of the ground, we do in the South Stand, honest!

Agreed i think it would cost way too much to implement.

A parking permit to allow free on street parking in town/around Bramall Lane on matchdays.

Why would you want Wi-Fi? You're at a footy match for gods sake. Besides, as has already been said, it wouldn't be able to cope with everyone trying to access it at the same time.

Good idea.

I'm an eternal optimist after 50 years a blades supporter with very little to show or it. HMr Batho is a decent bloke, I'm sure, and I await his answer..

ST prices should go up by at least 20% to reward those who bought a ST on the incredible offer of a price freeze last time round.

We need to come up with a pricing and marketing strategy that weeds out the remaining false Blades that slipped through the net last season. If we can get rid of a couple of thousand more false Blades the atmosphere should get even better at the Lane if that's possible.

More importantly the reduced numbers should help us overcome the technical difficulties of providing wi fi to a large number of fans at the same time.

Just to slightly de-rail the thread; whatever we come up with, is it not possible to at least devise a system where there isn't a nigh-on half-empty ground, but snaking queues outside the ticket office for Division 3 football every weekend and people missing the start of the game?

Good point Saeed, it should be perfectly possible to get tickets on the day from an outlet based in each of the stands - as they now do at Hibernian - but I'd expect the official response would be either a) get there earlier or b) stfu and buy an ST, you NRS.

Sorted that for you rodders, but why should season ticket holders expect to actually get into games before kick off, do STH expect preferential treatment just because the shell out a fair price to sit and watch in uncomfy seats and awful weather conditions, i say NO let the STH's wait and allow the proper fans that come to FA cup semi finals vs Man Utd etc to get to their seats first as of course they wont be there the following tuesday nght game vs rochdale so deserve nay demand better treatment than these johnny come lately STH.

Now that's what I call a 'tongue in cheek post'. Olle please note how few lines were used to get to several points!

I thought the club said before the start of this season that this would be the last season with £10 STs for any age group & that they would all go up to £60 odd.

I don't think free wifi will be as easy as sending out the WEP Key! To offer free wifi for up to 30,000 you'd need some serious kit and a meaty internet connection. Can't see United investing anything in that. I'd rather see investment in the squad!

I think there will be a slight increase, but as an extra incentive, i reckon they should throw in a free early round League Cup game in for the season ticket holders.

WIFI would be good, but I also made a point a few weeks ago that they should include a cut price membership to Blades Player
